as many said before: SMS code is required, but none send. Support is not available
App doesn’t work with my German phone number, I’m not getting an sms, please fix!

I live in Germany, I can’t scan my German residence permit. I’ve got following message:you’ve scanned the wrong type of document.
I’ve tried it for half a year now it never works
I hate everything about it.
But the app itself works.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work with an non UK phone number. Please fix it as soon as possible.
Have to send my passport to the UK as it did not scan it properly….super annoying
I scanned my ID and wasn‘t even informed that it failed to identify the ID. Instead of trying again I have the hassle of sending my ID.
I haven’t received any codes, neither using my English phone number, nor any other... please fix the bug, time is running out for applications!

You cant apply since you wont recove an SMS Code.

Deutsche Nummern funktionieren wegen dem fehlenden + nicht. Man kann aber die Nummer ändern (ich empfehle eine englische) indem man auf gov.uk unter der Suche „Update your uk“ klickt und das erste Suchergebnis anklickt. Hier können alle Informationen geändert werden, danach klappt alles reibungslos. War insgesamt 1:30h in der Warteschleife für die Info vom Homeoffice. Hoffe es hilft jemanden.
Simple instructions and worked everything how it should. Only my email wasn’t correct so I had to take another one but everything else was no problem.
The app worked as it was supposed to do. I hat no problems at all. I used my (German) Passport, which instead of my ID has the internal chip. Check the sign and don‘t confuse with the NFC stuff.
The app worked exactly how it was supposed to and the design is appealing, too.
Its performance of a facial scan is a slightly spooky process though

If you are not an EEA or Swiss national, you must have a UK issued biometric residence card or permit (provided you are in the UK) to use this app.
You must complete the rest of your application online separately.
