Ich habe seit kurzem den kybook Reader Inn der Pro-Version.
Läuft auch gut soweit, allerdings sobald ich das iPad ausschalte und anderen Tags wieder einschalte, sind alle Einstellungen, die ich gemacht habe; so z. B. Schriftauswahl,
Hintergrundeinstellungen, Schriftgröße, Helligkeit usw., auf Default-Einstellungen zurückgesetzt und ich muß die Einstellungen erneut vornehmen. Auch zusätzliche Schriften, die ich über KyBook auf mein iPad eingespielt habe, werden trotzdem nicht erkannt oder nur durch stundenlanges Probieren. Das ist nicht sehr prickelnd. Deswegen nur drei Sterne. Ansonsten bin ich mit KyBook3EbookReader zufrieden. War also nicht gerade ein Fehlkauf.

Wirklich toll. Was KyBook3EbookReader noch besser machen würde: wenn man im Katalog nach Erscheinungsjahr suchen könnte.

Gute e-Reading App, die dritte Version gefällt mir grundsätzlich besser als die zweite, allerdings finde ich es schade, dass keine speedreading-Funktion mehr verfügbar ist.

Die beworbene Fähigkeit der Cloud-Dienste als auch WebDAV/SMB/CIFS funktionieren nicht da es dafür keine Einstellungsfunktionen gibt. iCloud wird zwar angezeigt, bleibt jedoch ohne Funktion.
Einen einfachen und schnellen Support für Fragen habe ich nicht gefunden. Leider wird das Programm wohl nicht mehr weiter gepflegt. Am besten gefällt mir die Unterstützung von Calibre OPDS sodass ich alle Bücher direkt importieren kann. Auch die Darstellungs-und Sortierungsoptionen sind gut.

Brauche nur die Synchronisation von Lesezeichen. Brauche keine 3GB Cloudspeicher! 50 MB für Lesezeichen und gut ists. Dafür 16€ jährlich zahlen, ernsthaft??? Für 2€ nur für diese Funktion würd ichs mir echt noch überlegen, aber so: sicher kein Abo...

I was looking for a reading app like this for ages!
It has all the features that I was looking for and got even more. I always wanted a reading app that allows me to set font, font size(all sizes), margins, line size and most importantly for me scrolling (continuous reading downwards). But features like the justification, paragraph size and hyphenation are just making reading more fun. The menu/library is a little confusing but that is insignificant as I don’t spend to much time there.
I tested the pro feature and that also has some nice features like auto scrolling. But I am more than happy with the normal version for now.

War bis dato für mich das non plus Ultra in Sachen E-Book Reader. Seit einiger Zeit schleichen jedoch Fehler ein, so speichert KyBook3EbookReader nicht mehr die zuletzt gelesene Seite (Lesezeichen befindet sich meist um die 50 Seiten weiter vorn … ) und das ist ärgerlich.

Auch nach dem neusten Update stürzt KyBook ab, sobald ich meine 400 Bücher übertrage. Danach lässt sich KyBook3EbookReader nicht mehr starten, sie muss gelöscht werden.

Beste eBook-Reader App für iOS. ABER: Die Synchronisierung beim Abonnement funktioniert häufiger nicht, weil die Zertifikate abgelaufen sind. Und der Entwickler ist nicht zu kontaktieren. Das nervt! Daher nur zwei Punkte.

KyBook3EbookReader öffnet in russisch. Da ich dessen nicht mächtig bin, kann ich auch die Sprache nicht umstellen. Damit leider nicht verwendbar. :–(

I’ve been using this app for a while and I think it’s very good. Its very stable and all the small features make it really good for reading... highly recommend it

I read a mix of ebooks (mostly ePub) and pdfs but with the majority of reads begin pdf. Therefore I used to use iBooks. There you have of course the best synchronisation between multiple Apple devices however the feature support between ebook and pdf has a very immature feeling and differs in extend as well. In my point of view kyBooks3 is superior in this regard. In addition only iCloud is supported which is a downside for me because I would like to use Dropbox.
kyBooks3 offers a great interface which is intuitive and the available features are well implemented. The feature list is longer that iBooks.
However it is unfortunate that although iCloud and Dropbox are supported as storage services, synchronisation of notes etc. is not possible.
Especially for pdfs it would be important to me to have notes and marks synchronised between iPhone and e.g. iPad but also between my PC.
I understand that kyBooks is offering their own sharing service however I want to use my Dropbox account.
Hence 3 stars for the great experience and features.

I have lots of books and articles which I accessed in version 2 via their filename. Some have metadata, some don‘t, so I want to have them ordered and shown by filename, (and without cover or card layouts). I load them from my owncloud, local network or dropbox, which all have a file interface. So I don‘t understand why this version 2 feature has been dropped. The version is useless for me unless this feature will be re-implemented.

It works very well with a load of customisation option, unfortunately it copies the contents of your clipboard on use. This includes content I had in my password manager. Sadly I already upgraded to the Pro version before finding out

I downloaded the app as recommended in KyBook 2 and ended up with a version in Spanish language. How do I change the default Localisation to English? Installing it again did not work and I could not find a setting in the app! I am not a native speaker of the Spanish language. Super smart AI involved telling me to learn Spanish this way?

Neueste Version von KyBook. Einige sinnvolle und durchdachte neue Features, Migration der Bücher funktioniert gut. Pro Version muss neu gekauft werden und kann auch per Abo-Modell, genutzt werden. Aber Basic / Pro Version ist prima.
