I was planning to move to Lisbon and I booked a Studio apt through this app. The booking went smoothly and when I arrived the apartment was looking great, as on pictures. One week later I found myself with having water all over the apartment. I contacted both the landlord and diese App to assist me with this issue. It took 6 days for a plumber to come. Apparently there was a piece of plastic, part of the plumbing system of the shower. This plastic piece was supposed to prevent hair from blocking the shower, but instead of that it was preventing the water of properly going into the pipes. The apartment got very humid and I made both the landlord and Manuela ( the woman from customer service who is assisting me on this case) aware of that. During the week of the accident the landlord brought a humidifier and left it for me to install it. I did not do that because seemingly it had to be properly installed and the girlfriend of the landlord said she will come by to install it. That never happened.
The following week, someone tried to enter in the apartment. I instantly contacted the landlord asking if someone else has the key to the flat. I also contacted Manuela from the customer service team, providing both the landlord and Manuela with pictures of the forced door. The landlord said he would change the locker for “me to feel safe” while Manuela contacted the reservation team to assist me on my request on moving out of the flat. Katya (woman from reservation team) sent me some other apartments as an option, but none pet friendly or in my price range.She was actually nice and suggested she would talk to the landlords of potential apartments to ask if they would let a pet in.
All in all, since someone tried getting in my apartment on Wednesday and today being Monday, the door was not fixed and Manuela told me that she can’t do anything about the fact that I don’t feel safe, also that I should look on other websites for a flat. I suggested sending someone from diese App to see the apartment and conclude the damages, because in my opinion this is what a professional service would be. Later I received an E-mail from Manuela asking me to send her the dates I am moving out.
