Given the ratings and the critical voices here I was really skeptical. But I gave it a try, experienced the free trial sessions, got myself premium and now I’m really happy. Once you take yourself the time to get used to the app and to adopt it to your individual needs, it works smoothly and it actually helps. But: Using diese App for the first time is not intuitive, which surely frustrates some guys. You have to handle (in my case) the desktop app, the dashboard in your browser and the app on your phone. This multi-channel sync is a bit confusing and requires some effort. But the time I saved myself for critical work and life away from the screen outweighs these initial difficulties by far. So, give it a try, put in 1 or 2 hours of getting-used-to-the-thing and it might also improve your life.

The App works like advertised. I use it on an iPhone, iPad and Mac. Useful for reducing procrastination. For the, in my opinion, steep subscription price (there’s great software like SelfControl which does the same for free, but only on Mac) the App should be better:
- one has to create an account. please at least make an option for sign on with apple. there’s no need for an account at all, settings/sessions could and should be synced via iCloud.
- there’s no real localization, the time can only be set using am/pm times. please integrate 24h time.
- automatically one receives annoying emails from the company. this app is advertised to reduce distraction and procrastination, please don’t annoy your paying customers.
- the UI of the app feels a bit cheap. would be fine for a free app or a one time purchase. would except more from a subscription app.

You can‘t block distractions etc. ahead of time without being able to delete the block until it starts.
For example: You habe trouble to get to bed at 11 am, because of binch-watching netflix or surfing the web. So you schedule a block of internet etc. on your devices, lets say at 4 am in good intentions to be an active block at 11 am.
However, in the evenings, you do not want to stop watching or sufring and you are able to just delete the block (even if it is set in locked mode) anytime until 11 am.
So just before 11 am, e.g. 10:55 am, you decide to go on with watching and surfing and just delete the block at 11 am to go on with your „addictions“.
I would like to have a functionality to schedule later sessions (blocks) in a locked mode, so that they can‘t be changed anymore, once they are scheduled.
This would be very helpful.
Since this functionality is very important for me, I gave only 2 stars. Hovever, the other functionalities work and are also helpful.

I've used diese App for about 3 years now, with a premium account. It's saved me from wasting a lot of time. It takes some getting used to, to set it up right. Considering how much is constantly changing in all the OS's that diese App works in, I think the team is doing a great job keeping up. Also, customer service is very responsive.

While the app indeed help me concentrate and reduces distractions, it does not always sync automatically and needs to be manually activated on the various devices. It’s not a big deal! But it does mean that sometimes I will start a session and then continue to receive messages if I haven’t made sure it’s actually on. If this were to be fixed I think I would enjoy the service more.

The App is more or less useless on iOS. The App Blocker still doesn't work and the support doesn’t reply. A total waste of money (I bought Lifetime premium because I had a special offer without testing this thing before).

Regular blocks work, app blocks and scheduled blocks don’t. Not really worth the money this way

I bought a lifetime Premiums subscription only to find out that it will only last 5 years before I have to renew it for another 129 USD.
Everyone please be careful. Not the kind of company I envisioned.

I bought the premium version and it simply doesn’t deliver what it promises. A lot of apps don’t get blocked and I didn’t hear anything back from the support team.

Unfortunately I can only use the PremiumAccount on one device. Premium works on the iPhone, but I cannot set up the PremiumAccount on the iPad. the app does not allow that.

Recently, when I enable diese App, all kinds of sites will be blocked which are not in my blocklist. Normal e-commerce and payment sites do not work. I pretty much cannot use the app and I paid for a yearly subscription.

I dont want to loose Even More time on this App therefore you get bulletpoints.
- Doesnt start scheduled sessions automatically
- blocks on apps dont work properly
- very easy to break out of a session e.g. by deinstalling the App
- from what I understood the Good reviews on this App are from a time where it really worked so dont get tricked by them

Sadly this Updated diese App Version is due to the new Apple Policies Completely useless because Apps will still work, only websites on safari can be blocked
