Though I am quite happy to have a possibility of legally watching all the different Drag Race seasons, the app itself is built HORRENDOUSLY. The buffering is horribly optimized and even with a good connection the videos stutter and drop in quality all the time. Additionally I wouldn’t recommend turning on the subtitles as they often lag by about a second (which is a lot, when you are trying to follow speech) though I don’t know if that’s a poor algorithm or just pure human fault. Maybe a poor unpaid intern was forced to do it.
It’s quite strange to know that this app and this poor service are the legal and correct way to watch such a well produced show as Drag Race in Europe.

Das Gute: WOWPresentsPlus bietet die meisten RuPaul‘s Drag Race Folgen des weltweiten Franchises. Dazu noch einige nette, kleine Vignetten der verschiednen Queens.
Das Schlechte: Die Qualität der Streams ist stark durchwachsen. Das wird sogar vom Support bestätigt (Season 13 US is z.B. nur in SD Qualität verfügbar) - allerdings nicht korrigiert (der Support mein, es läge an der zugrundeliegenden Aufnahmen... wäre zwar möglich, aber dann ziemlich peinlich für eine Produktionsfirma dieser Art).
Alles in allem eine etwas lieblose und technik-schwache App. Die Menge an Inhalt stimmt, die Qualität lässt stark zu wünschen übrig.

Auswahl ist fantastisch, aber das „Weiter ansehen“ funktioniert gar nicht. Ich muss quasi immer wieder nach der neuen Folge suchen, weil mir Folgen vorgeschlagen werden, die ich schon längst gesehen habe.

Leider werden Untertitel über Apple Airplay auf dem Fernseher garnicht angezeigt und somit ist es leider quasi kaum möglich RPDR Holland oder España zu schauen, wenn man die Sprache nicht kann

An sich perfekt, allerdings stoppt jedes Video wenn ich vom Querformat in’s Hochformat wechsele. Wenn das behoben ist, gibt’s 5 Sterne! 🥰

Es ist soooo toll endlich alles von RPDR zu sehen! Ich kann kaum genug bekommen. Leider ist mein american english nicht perfekt und ich würde mich eine größere Auswahl an Untertiteln Wünschen. Wäre wirklich toll wenn dies möglich wäre
