I am here to listen to the LRB. The voices are wonderful. I just finished chapter two of “The Tower,” and I can see the worth of this app. It is promising but has a long way to go. Mainly, the user experience is unreliable because articles that I thought were downloaded were not and I was surprised to find out at times when I was offline and the last thing I wanted is to go online. Offline is such a great experience, promising solitude and better understanding of the content, but diese App right now cannot help me achieve it. diese App is also slow because every time I open it it has to check for stuff. My internet is ADSL 12mb, so it’s vexing to have to wait for it to fetch new articles while the only thing I want is to go straight to my downloaded articles and hit play.

Another feature is still missing: I don’t wanna listen to any other magazine or newspaper apart from LRB in order to reduce clutter and information pollution (don’t get me wrong. All the other publications maybe worth their salt, but I wouldn’t want to have all 20+ of them fly at my face, goodness!). Could you please add a feature that makes it possible to directly open the app into a specific magazine?

Finally, a podcast format could have delivered far superior results, especially for me since I don’t use the app to follow with the text, although I can imagine many users finding this very useful. I also understand the need for the in-app subscriptions which may be unavailable in podcast format. But could you please make this like a podcast thing: fast and reliable?

Last, could you please add a dark theme?

Old content, hardly any of the magazines have regular content, some only have articles from 2016 which is lame. I paid money and was expecting more. Shame

... the scrolling offset. The text too often almost runs out of the visible screen on the top.

The app and idea behind it are exactly what I have been waiting for. Mostly the app is theoretically great but the loading times are atrocious (at least here in Germany). Also it would be great to have an option on the watch and iPad. Get the load time fixed and it’s great already.

I now breeze through issues of The New Yorker while running, shopping, and walking the dog. Life changing. I still have the print subscription of my favorite magazines, but diese App helps to complete longer pieces in their entirety while doing other things. Thank you!

Für jeden Nachrichten-/Audio-Junkie ein Muss, und auch der Preis ist gerechtfertigt. Hochwertige Inhalte, keine Werbung, monatlich kündbar. - Alles soweit okay.
Technisch läuft Audm leider überhaupt nicht rund. Wenn ich mir alle Medien im Stream anzeigen lassen möchte bzw. auf ‚Discover’ gehe, dauert das Laden viel zu lange. Beim Wechsel zwischen verschiedenen Funktionen stürzt sie auch mal ab. Es gibt kein eigenes Design fürs iPad. Viele iOS Apps arbeiten heutzutage mit anderen Funktionen und Apps von Apple zusammen. Hier ist bei diese App noch viel Luft nach oben.
