Why changing the widgets?

In the latest version, the widgets have been modified and they are only able to be put on the « today » screen. Moreover, this way of doing widgets adds a header with the app name, which is useless. I also don’t need the edit buttons and all, I liked my holdings as they were. Sorry if it sounds harsh, I just don’t understand why something that worked changed. The rest of the app is great and works great though, have a good day!
