Je vous déconseille fortement cette méthode de contraception extrêmement risquée. J’ai suivi point par point chaque consigne, en prenant ma température chaque jour, à la même heure en veillant à ne pas bouger d’un iota avant la prise de température. L’algorithme a visiblement mal calculé ma date d’ovulation - qu’il avait pourtant soit disant trouvé (j’ai reçu une notification spécifique pour cela). Résultat, je suis tombée enceinte au bout du deuxième cycle...Un stérilet au cuivre sans hormone est bien moins stressant et plus inoffensif qu’une IVG. Je ne conseille cette méthode qu’aux femmes qui veulent espacer leurs grossesses.

All it takes is one look at the news tab in google to see the myriad articles surrounding this apps flailing credibility. I’m victim to one of the many unwanted pregnancies caused by this fallible algorithm that falsely preaches its reliability. Apart from the pain both physical and mental of the abortion I suffered last week, it’s that layer of shame that’s irreversible, especially when each doctor laughed when I told them how we became pregnant “you can’t trust something like this app, but don’t feel bad we see people regularly who are in this same situation, who believe an app will help prevent a pregnancy.” I’m back on the pill as any side effect will never amount to the pain suffered from an abortion. To add insult to injury the company’s response to my request for a refund was “we will need your data”. Ladies, I recommend finding an option that cares more about its users rather that simply the data they produce.

I used it for a year now and the method is a good one for me (regular life, regular cycle).The app is correct and offered nice user experience in comparaison with the others before the last update : they modified the ergonomy and prevented the left-right sliding to skip a day or be back to the last one. The functionnality was nearly vital since i enter the temperature on the next day. It’s now possible but a real pain since 6 steps are now needed when 2 were before.
My other problems are :
- really too expensive for the service
- the algorythm doesn’t seem to be a very advanced one. I think it’s a dumb estimation and not at all based on big data
- data not accessible to user offline and after the end of subscription : should be forbidden

Après 4 mois d’utilisation, je constate que NaturalCycles me permets de mieux comprendre le fonctionnement de mon corps, cela permet d’associer le partenaire à la contraception. Je pense évidemment que le taux d’échec dépend du sérieux avec lequel on applique la méthode associée à l’app (prise de température régulière, observation de symptômes). Soulagée de ne plus dépendre des contraceptifs hormonaux toxiques!!

So easy to use, gives you tonnes of information and support day-to-day, and loads of facts on your specific cycle. I trust it completely to give me accurate feedback to avoid a pregnancy.

Finally a fertility monitoring method that brings me closer to the natural, healthy functions of my body rather than disrupting them! I love the added information and messages that gently encourage me to get to pay closer attention to my cycle and my natural states. I was so proud and relieved to be able to recommend this option to my daughter.

Instead of swallowing a pill and not thinking about what’s going on inside your body, get connected with your cycle and become aware! It is simply very interesting and great way to know yourself better.

I use NC app since 2017 at least. More than just helping me to have a natural contraception, Natural Cycle really helps me to reconnect with my body, understand my cycle and be more conscient about what’s going on in my body according to my cycle.

It also provides so much educative information that we should have be taught in school. It is really powerful.

About the contraception, I used the app to prevent a pregnancy. According to my doctors and much analyse, conception should be easy for me, so for people who are “scare” to use the app, you can really trust it. I trust it for few years now and it is so accurate and amazing!

Après des années avec des infections mycoses les contraceptifs hormonale pour moi c’était un non. Ces app est génial une fois on prends l’habitude de prendre la température avant de se lever le matin. C’est vraiment très précis...je suis toujours étonné! Trop content.

Très pratiques pour celles qui comme moi ne veulent plus prendre de contraception hormonale mais souhaitent éviter une grossesse.
L'application est bien faite, pratique et ludique. Une fois l'habitude de prendre sa température au réveil prise ça deviens naturel et on n'oublie pas :-)

J’étais tout d’abord sceptique car on me disait que nos grands mères utilisaient déjà cette méthode et qu’elle était peu fiable. Au fur et à mesure, j ai vu que mon algorithme prenait forme, que les jours verts augmentaient et après 1,5 an d’utilisation je suis pleinement satisfaite ! Tout ça sans hormone :)

Having been on the pill only for two years in my late teens, I was looking for something like natural cycles at the start of the digital boom. In the meantime I tracked with pen and paper, something that can be so cumbersome to do and the data of which is risky to interpret with little (or in my case no) formal education in female reproductive health. The wait has been worthwhile. Natural Cycles helps me feel confident in my choice to prevent pregnancy without hormones. The best part of it all is getting to know my body and having a partner eager to learn along with me. It is a liberating feeling. The app works wonderfully. Easy to navigate. I especially appreciate the educational articles and notifications that help remind me to track and appreciate my body. I have been tracking for 35 cycles (a bit on and off for 4 yrs) now and my confidence in it grows. One thing I do *not* appreciate about Natural Cycle is their recent partnership with Nike and Lululemon. I am not using this app to have other products marketed to me. Please NC, stop fueling consumerism.
