Great game with a lot of potential

I played this game for quite a bit and definitely enjoyed it. I really like the concept (who doesn’t like pizza ??!) and the pixel art aesthetic reminds me a lot of retro games. The gameplay is fun and quick, and the abilities and pets are all unique . However, I feel like there’s stuff worth adding that would make this game an even better experience. So here are my ideas :
- Firstly, to get the big one out of the way, I’d like this game to switch from portrait mode to landscape mode. I think landscape mode is generally a better option for mobile gaming as it is more comfortable and allows for more complex controls to be added later on. This change would certainly be a big one but would make the game more interesting.
- Also, currently the player is oriented automatically towards the closest enemy. I honestly think the orientation of the player should be manually controlled by a joystick like for movement. The will be more engaging and would add a layer of tactic to every session (for exemple prioritizing bigger ennemies). This is also a change that would benefit from landscape mode.
- Also maybe make the level progress bar purple like the level orbs (or make the orbs green). I initially found the base color choice kind of confusing.
- And also more topping and pets, but I’m sure that’s already being worked on ;)
