Takes ages to load, and then there's no front page. Shame, because the first (and only) time it worked, it looked really good.
Running on an iPhone SE...the app is very frustrating.... keeps crashing... very slow to upload... never updated ... frustrating because the articles are good and so is the world coverage but the IT behind the app is abysmal. It has stoped working altogether last week... will the independent do something about it ?
Always blocking, too long to load. Nowhere as good as guardian or BBC. Content is good though but too frustrating to use regularly.
Been reading older versions for years without any problems. Once the teething problems are sorted it should be good as now have access to puzzles and supplements......when they load
Like the new look, really freshens up the app.
Impossible to share via Twitter, however. No possibility to log in to Twitter and an error "impossible to verify your account".
Why not just use the iPhone's share via Twitter capability?
Nice app, I like the subject tabs, all updated frequently during the day.
The big problem is that this app drains the iPhone battery, even when the app is not in use.
The new update blocks the opening of the app, saying an Internet connection is required to use the app but I am connected to the internet! Bugs to fix before releasing please, older version worked fine.
Works for me, much prefer it to the website
Articles are of high quality but the app could be improved (navigation, customization,...).
All the features a newspaper app usually boasts, with a welcome focus on off-line reading. Too bad the app is visually ugly. I would definitely pay for an advert-free version, à la Guardian.

A very good app for a very good newspaper. Easy to use, reliable, it is one of my favorite apps. I am a French user and I advice my friends to use it.
It's clear and understandable. I like this type of news as it goes to the point and gives all points of views.
