If you are an rsync fan, well this acrosync thing is disappointing. For the developper, you can read the following as feature requests, for the end-users this is what you think you will get by purchasing the iOS app but you won't :
1. You can't create an upload profile based on photos in your camera roll or album. You will have to select the photos manually, one by one there is not even a select-all option. The photos backups application from the same developer is better for this task and is even free ! still I hate this free application too, it asks you to buy the acrosync for every upload you make, it creates an unnecessary hidden file
2. You can't download photos back to your camera roll or album. You can downoload to a folder in acrosync and will have to view them within acrosync. Very disappointing !
3. Forget about other iTunes contents : music, videos, books, ...
4. Regarding rsync itself, you can't control much of it : I am mostly missing --backup and --backup-dir options, the --partial and --partial-dir options, the -n dry-run option, the --existing and --ignore-existing and --filter option ( but you still have exclude filter)
5. Finally the ergonomy of the application is still confusing to me: you never know when you click on a folder profile whether you will get the settings or the content.
If I knew all that, I wouldn't have purchased this application.
