they look like a "train" of moving lights since 60 satellites are launched
together at a time.
This app is the official mobile version of the findstarlink.com website, which has been successfully serving Starlink predictions to people since May 2019 (when Starlink first launched).
The findstarlink.com website has been mentioned on several press outlets like Yahoo! News, WIRED.it, and Florida Today, and receives daily user confirmations of successful Starlink sightings.
These are Starlink satellites launched by SpaceX, and they look like a "train" of moving lights since 60 satellites are launched together at a time.
People across the world have been spotting an amazing line of bright moving lights in their night sky.
You can also click 'Remind me' next to any timing, to get a reminder 30 minutes before Starlink will be visible at your location.
A 'Live Map' lets you track where Starlink is currently in the world.
First, please select your nearest city (or coordinates), and click on 'Find Visible Times'.
The app will list the times when you can see Starlink.

Application au top ! Nous avons pu voir parfaitement le train de satellites deux soirs de suite de chez nous (sud-ouest de la France)
Précision des horaires, rappels juste avant (30 mn, 10 mn puis instant T) bravo !!!

Je ne parviens pas à voir les satellites aux horaires annoncés par l’app. Quand je regarde une carte montrant la position des satellites (pas celle de FindStarlinkSatellites), les satellites ne sont pas en position ni au bon endroit. Ce n’est pas un problème de pollution lumineuse, certaines magnitudes (2,3 notamment) auraient pu etres visibles.

Wow ! The input to pick a location near you is awefull ! Why use a select ? Have you tested your app ? Suggestion : ask for phone location and suggest the 5 closest point you got in the list. Or, display a map with dots on maps, people would tap on them to select.
But having to scroll hundreds of items to find nothing, them scroll again ! That’s a very poor UX design
Edit : ok by bad, it didn’t worked. I have reinstalled the app. On first open, it asked for my position which I granted. But the selected location remained on Nigeria. Then I switched to « by coordinates », then back to by name. And then the closest place was selected.
I have updated my grade. Thank you for your work :-)

shame, I downloaded this app to see the frequency of passing Starlink satellites. How can we get space in this way (lights) that others for new projects that are so strange and polluting????
