I have been using this app for the past 2 month, training for N1 using the Premium features.
Though it is a fantastic app for practicing your JLPT skills, I wouldn’t trust it too much if I were you as it there are a lot of mistakes (at least for the N1 part, I don’t know about the others since I didn’t tried them).
For the small exercises like grammar ones I didn’t notice any mistake, but when it comes to the long reading exercises, the app mainly uses articles from Asahi Shinbun Newspaper.
As I was practicing, I found some of the answers were really weird and decided to ask my gf who is Japanese to check them out. To her surprise, the answers she gave were also wrong. We decided to check the web and found the original articles, just to find out that every answers the app told us were right, were indeed… wrong !
I wouldn’t mind that much if the app was entirely free. But I paid 18€ for a 3 months Premium use. So the least we deserve is to have the right answers. Furthermore I was lucky to have someone I could ask for the right answer, but this could eventually misguide people and lead them to fail the exam.
In normal time, I would give that app 4-5 stars because it is really helpful to practice JLPT daily. But having errors in a paid app is simply a no go. I would advise anyone to think carefully before getting the premium feature, and find another way to study JLPT if you can.
