Trying to green-wash profits made from selling combustion engines — hard pass. It took 4 (!) edits to this comment’s reply section for the corporation to put together a coherent reply, which is to say, the corp-speak message was merely improved. To me, this illustrates the nature of the problem itself: the company is interested primarily in itself, and itself only — the interest for “society”, “ethics”, “sustainability” are merely labels that seems to stick here and there, used to advance and promote those financial interests — there is nothing noble or authentic about the themes that are brandished. So, Elli Charging? I think not.
