The app only adds fonts to your settings and does not modify them at all in the process.
2) Tap on any listed font and you'll get a preview of the characters along with other metadata.
Fontcase is completely open source, so your privacy is insured.

Finally
Finally a very useful app for those who uses fonts other than the one provided by iOS devices. Two thumbs up for Manolo. Now I will be able to edit all my documents on my iPad.
