Visually the new app is much better than the old one and features landscape mode. I use Omron VIVA (weight, fat, muscle), temperature, and EVOLV(blood pressure) instruments. I can’t customize the screens like before. For example I don’t want BMI as It can’t even distinguish between weight as fat or as muscles. The indication of healthy ranges is missing compared to the old app. Visceral fat shows 8 with no explanation of what this number means or if it’s in the healthy range. I can’t edit or delete measurements e.g. if the blood pressure cuff didn’t get a good fit and the reading was way off. I cannot see measurements and trends over weeks, months, or year for weight and body fat, as I can for blood pressure. Why does the app display steps per day, which none of my Omron instruments measure. Again like BMI this a simple measure that’s fine if all you got is a step counter, but my Apple Watch has much more advanced access to my exercise and fitness level related to heart rate resting, walking, and running. The app is good, blood pressure overview is improved, but it’s lacking in features for the VIVA data compared to the old app.
