... and yet on the German app store. The App requires you basically to agree to share any of your data with whoever. NOT ACCEptable. Luckily EU consumer protection organisations are having a field day with these types of lawsuits.
too many ads

Npr One = One ad per story. I am actually a big fan of npr, but am disappointed with this app. I thought at first, pretty cool, but then more and more ads started coming. Now it's almost one ad / show. You can jump over the shows, but, guess what, not the ad. oof. so yes, you can skip them, but its inconvenient, so i quit. I do not believe love makes Subarus. you making us smart and stupid at the same time!
Ridiculous battery consumption

I like the app, but it sucks my phone empty in minutes. Other radio apps consume a few % when I listen for 1 hour, but this one will easily use up 50% of the battery.
offline listening is not possible

It is consuming internet heavily. It would be better to be able to save some podcast while connected to wireless and listen offline when i m on mobile data.

I enjoy the variety of topics and the depth of the shows, particularly related to political issues. NPR politics is my all-time favourite.
The app opened up the entire universe of contact NPR has to offer. The Big Listen is a perfect gateway. It's inspiring to listen to the team, they all seam to be absolutely engaged and motivate.
