In Japan - insbesondere mitten in Tokio - funktioniert der Dienst regelmäßig überhaupt nicht und man hat gar keinen Empfang. Die angebotenen Lösungen des technischen Supports haben nichts gebracht; ein Discount o.ä. wurde nicht angeboten. Andere Anbieter sind wohl zuverlässiger!

Connection speeds in Japan in time of my using were too slow. Customer service couldn't resolve the issue

I bought 20 GB bundle to use while travelling in Taiwan, and it was so slow, almost unusable, the app is nice and easy to use but it’s a shame i had to buy from another provider

bad experience bought internet for me in montenegro 90% of the time the internet didn't work for me, and when it did it was very slow. I do not recommend!

In Saily kann es passieren dass man versehentlich Pläne bucht und auch keine geregelte Rückmeldung in Saily bekommt.

Die gekauften Pläne haben auch ungenutzt ein Verfallsdatum worauf nicht oder nur versteckt hingewiesen wird.

Saily verdient 1 Stern und nicht mehr.
Ich empfinde das als rechtlich nicht zulässig.

Wanted to use it in Thailand as it offered the cheapest service, but as always if you buy cheap you buy twice. Didn‘t get any network connection, so I bought an esim at the airport for a bit more and got immediately 5G with 5 times the data volume . Save your money and avoid this app.

In Sri Lanka (Ostküste bis Kandy) funktioniert das Internet leider so gut wie garnicht. Man muss Glück haben, wenn bei vollem LTE-Empfang reine Text-Whatsapp-Nachrichten empfangen und gesendet werden.

Funktioniert im Oman auf jeden Fall nicht. Geld umsonst bezahlt

Mein Guthaben wurde einfach deaktiviert. Support reagiert leider nicht. Da nutze ich lieber andere Anbieter, die zuverlässiger sind.

Sorry, aber für Sri Lanka kann man diese App wirklich nicht empfehlen. Das Internet läuft über den lokalen Anbieter Hutch, der hier ohnehin einen schlechten Ruf hat. Whatsapp kann man wohl noch nutzen, aber im Internet surfen oder über Google Maps navigieren geht gar nicht. Ist zwar etwas günstiger als Nomad, aber was soll's, wenn es über die Mobilfunkanbieter Mobitel und Dialog deutlich besser funktioniert, die diese App nicht auf der Reihe hat.

Saily ist zwar sehr gut gemacht, aber das alles nützt nichts, wenn man am Ende keinen Empfang hat. Leider habe ich vor Reise Antritt ein großes Paket gekauft, das man vorher natürlich nicht testen kann. In Thailand zumindest ist der Empfang sehr, sehr schlecht. Man hat zwar überall volle Anzeige LTE, aber nirgends kann man realistisch mehr nutzen als Messaging. Und selbst das oft nicht. Webseiten laden so gut wie nie. Der Support war keine Hilfe. Hab mir eine andere ESIM gekauft und jetzt ganz normal überall Internet.

I bought a e-SIM for both Japan and Philippines. I regret it. Never again. The data was so slow, that I couldn’t use it and had to buy another SIM card from a different provider.

Wir sind maßlos enttäuscht von diese App. Die ersten Tage funktionierte der Service gut , nun nur noch schleichend langsames Internet. Die Verbindung wird eindeutig von den Anbietern hier in Japan gedrosselt. Kundenservice versucht mit verschiedenen Änderungen in den Einstellungen das Problem zu lösen jedoch ohne Erfolg. Kundenservice verweist sonst nur auf seine AGBs und , dass sie nicht verantwortlich für das Problem seien. Die e-sims für Japan werden aber trotz der Probleme, die viele Kunden betreffen , fröhlich weiter verkauft. Also Finger weg von diese App. Spart euch das Geld und den Frust .

I will definitely buy a different esim next time I am in Japan. It does not matter what time of day or which location, city or country side. All paintakingly slow :(

Ich habe von jetzt auf gleich keinen service mehr gehabt und dem kundenservice ist es ganz egal. Ich bekomme nur die antwort die techniker müssen sich das anschauen. Das ist jetzt schon seit 1 Tag so… Kann ich leider absolut nicht nachvollziehen wie man so mit seinen kunden umgehen kann. Ich will mein geld zurück.

Es funktioniert nach 2 Tagen ohne Internet jetzt wieder… Ich habe mir in der zwischenzeit aber eine andere Sim Karte gekauft und somit das doppelte geld zahlen müssen…

Absolutely useless! Got it for Japan and I had to end up relying on WiFi because it would just not work. 5G with the inability to load one page!!

Bought the e sim for Vietnam but could only use WhatsApp (sometimes even that wasn’t working), couldn’t use google maps or safari because the internet was too slow (even though it said LTE)
Connected the customer service (which was good and responded really fast and nice) but they only told me that their network provider do not cover most parts of Vietnam. Why do they even offer Vietnam for their e sims then?

Bad internet access in Japan. Customer service committed issues but did not offer any solution, only referred to general terms. App and access work well but misses the objective.

I bought plan when I booked my vacation and right before my flight when I wanted to activate it, the plan was already expired. The support person did not help me and told me that nothing can’t be done. Such a bad user experience.

Leider bin ich mit der Geschwindigkeit des Internetanschlusses sehr unzufrieden. Es kommen lediglich 1 Mbit/s im Download/ Upload an – und das im Zeitalter von 5G! Das Laden von Webseiten, das Abrufen von E-Mails oder die Nutzung von Messenger-Diensten sind kaum möglich. Alles dauert ewig und erschwert die alltägliche Kommunikation massiv. Für mich ist das inakzeptabel, da eine stabile und schnelle Verbindung heutzutage selbstverständlich sein sollte. Ich werde bei meiner nächsten Entscheidung definitiv auf einen anderen Anbieter ausweichen. Schade, dass hier nicht mehr geboten wird!

Ich hatte noch nie so mieses Internet. In Marokko nur LTE verfügbar und selbst das irre langsam.

So I got an eSim for Mexico and I have to say paying almost $70 for 30 days and then not having full Internet access....that's not customer friendly. Installing it wasn't a big problem. But switching from your Primary regular SIM to the eSim wasn't that easy and took 15min to st it up right. Then as I mentioned, I had often problems to connect to the internet or having a stable connection. And I'm talking about the times when I wasn't on excursions!

The App is easy to use and the eSim is also easy to setup. The prices for the Connectionplans are also very fair. (One Star)

BUT

As a few other users also mentioned the Connectionspeed is very slow. I was traveling through Taiwan and even stayed a few days in Taipei with only having a very slow form of LTE all the time.

Messaging was possible but even loading the Map on Google took time. I contacted the support early on, which is great by the way (One Star) but all the suggestions didn’t help. Even the technical support couldn‘t do anything. They just said it is because of the local network operator.
Later on I got a different eSim from a shop in taiwan and hat 5G everywhere … . I hope diese App will change there Network Operator Contractors in the future until than i won‘t recommand to use …

Quick Tip from the Support: Try out the eSim, if the Connection is bad and your data-usage is under 1% you can have a refund ;)

I Really like the App, but adding a Dark Mode would make usability, especially at night time, would make it even better. I hope you can implement this feature very soon.

Allgemein: App und Einrichtung sehr einfach. Aber man braucht zur Einrichtung im Ausland WLAN.
Nutzung in Japan: Obwohl voller Empfang und LTE angezeigt wird, fühlt es sich mehr wie 2G bis 3G an, wenn überhaupt. Dies führt teilweise zu erheblichen Problemen, wenn man sich aufs Internet verlassen muss - z.B. E-Tickets, Englische-Speisekarte nur mit Web-Bestellung in Restaurants, Übersetzungstool.
Bis jetzt nur in Tokyo und Nagoya genutzt.

Eine super App aber verbessern sie bitte den Empfang auf koh Samui (Thailand)

diese App is an very good app for traveling.
The prices are good and the app has an simple and easy useage. However an disadvantage is that languages like German are not available. The app is only in English
