diese App bietet eine interessante Art neue Leute kennen zu lernen. Was häufig im Dating Kontext verortet wird zielt hier explizit auf spannende Gespräche und gute Abendessen ab.
Ich finde diese Methode bereichernd um tatsächlich neue Leute weit außerhalb der eigenen Bubble kennen zu lernen.
Die Gruppe in der ich sein durfte hat das einfach gemacht und das Treffen war überhaupt nicht „awkward“, was man ja anfangs annehmen könnte.
Einige Optimierungen an der UI und weitere Segmentierung könnten Timeleft noch mehr zu einem Werkzeug machen neue Leute zu treffen und daraus Freundschaften entstehen zu lassen.

Aber wenn ich dann direkt in den ersten Fragen entscheiden muss, ob ich meine Meinung nach “Fakten” oder “Gefühlen” bilde und ob ich “lustig” oder “intelligent” bin, kann ich mir wirklich nicht vorstellen, dass da irgendwelche sinnvollen Gruppierungen bei rauskommen können. Das macht doch überhaupt keinen Sinn, da man Ersteres nicht selber beurteilen kann und Letzteres sich ja nicht ausschließt. Dieses ganze entweder oder Prinzip ist doch viel zu undifferenziert. Habe Timeleft entsprechend wieder gelöscht.

I’ve been to many diese App dinners over the past month and I don’t want to miss it anymore. It has become one of my favorite activities.

I like the idea behind the app and on the first glance the UI/UX was nice.
I have to give it a pretty bad rating because it asks for very personal/sensitive information like sexual orientation, drug usage, social status, whether one feels lonely, etc. And there is no way to skip these questions. Even worse, they get linked to my phone number AND email address, and there is no clear disclaimer about what you’ll do with these info or how you’re planing to keep those secure.
Why do you need my sexual orientation or wether I consume drugs to match me with random people for a dinner? Can’t could you make these questions at least skippebal?
I was interested in trying and even paying for for your service for picking a restaurant and match me with people, but I care about my data privacy more.

I joined the first edition taking place in Berlin and it was lovely. The people in our table were really open and nice. We had good conversations and I had a great time.

Gute Möglichkeit neu Leute kennenzulernen und mal aus seinem Bubble rauszugehen. Es ist immer noch Glückssache, ob es klappt aber selbst von schlechten Erfahrungen kann man was lernen

Finde die Idee echt cool sich mit komplett wildfremden Leuten zu treffen . war heute das erste Mal da und hab wirklich sehr tolle Leute kennen gelernt und finde das ist eine super Sache für Menschen, die neu in einer Stadt sind und was cooles erleben wollen.
Bei der Bezahlung fand ich die Kreditkartenangabe etwas blöd, und es weckte wirklich Misstrauen in mir. Mein Misstrauen war an der Stelle scheinbar falsch. Dennoch fände ich auch andere Zahlart gut.
Alles in allem echt wirklich super coole Idee. Freu mich auf die nächsten Treffen mit neuen Leuten

Prinzipiell tolle Idee, aber habe jetzt das zweite Treffen storniert, da ein noch teureres (Sushi Fusion Restaurant) ausgewählt wurde als beim ersten Mal. Zudem waren beim ersten Treffen auch keine normalen Leute und man konnte nicht mitreden, wenn man nicht beim Tauchen auf den Malediven war… dafür kann keiner was, aber bitte nicht die allerteuersten Restaurants und nicht nur Sushi (war es beim ersten Mal auch). Außerdem war beim ersten Mal das Alter zu weit auseinander für meinen Geschmack, aber vielleicht finden das manche interessant.

I made a reservation for a dinner in Hamburg. And no people showed up. The app didn’t sent me as any kind of notification or cancellation to don’t go there. I waited for 20 minutes and then I leave. But only 19:29 I received the “cancellation” of only 2 of the 5 others participants. It’s very annoying the fact that there is no service number or something to call and ask at the moment. I claimed my money back because obviously the service was not provided. So far no answer..
