Update: thank you for your reply. Requesting the location only when choosing the location-based entry in the list of places would be great. If the user selected a place with manual location then it shouldn't request the location. So both users / situations are covered and everybody is happy :)

Apps should not request the users' location permanently if the user does not allow it and gives a specific location by manual input. Right now it is unusable!
