As many people on X/Twitter have reported, the app isn't working. The chat only gives empty replies and images aren't generated. There are no descriptive error messages either, so it looks like the app just doesn't have any functionality at the moment.

Although using lifetime pro, the answers are empty and image creation is not possible. Entering api key doesn’t matter. Simply useless. No explanations in the app description, no helpful faq.

You put in your API Code, and then the App doesn’t work anymore.
Even when you erase your API in the App, it doesn’t work anymore.
And even when you erase the app an make a new installation, the App doesn’t work anymore

Die Idee ChatbotAssistantAI gefällt mir sehr gut.
Aber was nützt das, wenn die Ergebnisse nicht brauchbar sind.

Hier ein Beispiel:
Ein bestehender Text eines Wildparks soll stilistisch so angepasst werden, das er bestehenden Texten passt. Dabei kommt folgendes heraus:

The unintuitive and overloaded interface is one thing, what’s worse though is that there is no help or introduction whatsoever that leads to how to use this app.
I have obtained a free lifetime license and am not sure if that’s the reason why this app is not working at all. Like, no section of it is doing anything, from image generation to text translation to simple prompts.
I was hoping for this to be a good thing but at this time it feels like a hoax. Would be happy to correct my judgement though…

Ich frage mich was das für eine App sein soll. Trotz Eintrag eines API-Schlüssels kommen als Antworten nur leere Sprechblasen. Auch der Bildgenerator funktioniert nicht. Warum testet man eine App nicht bevor man sie in den AppStore stellt?

I have my API key. On OpenAI and since then the chats no longer work.

I also noticed that the answers of the bots are strange. For inexplicable reasons, words are separated and their syllables inserted in incorrect positions.

This makes the app useless, although I think the concept is great.

Eine eigenen API hinzuzufügen klappt super. Der Lifetime Account funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Leider habe ich ihn ganz anderes Problem und zwar mit den generierten Antworten. Diese sind, zumindest auf deutsch, voll mit Schreibfehlern und somit nicht brauchbar.

Many other reviews here didn't take into account that you need to provide your own api key. Except for uploading images to chat I can do everything neccessary and I really like the Shortcuts and system integrations!

Joy bietet ein schöne Lösung für den Desktop, um schnell auf ChatGPT zu Griff zu haben, im Abo.

Den Entwickler hatte ich kontaktiert, ob man auch die Lifetime-Lizenz nutzen kann, um andere Generatoren einzubinden. Antwort blieb aus.

Auch funktioniert der Bildgenerator nicht, obwohl es im Abo dabei sein soll. Und die syncronisation auf dem Mac. Dies frustriert mich.

Da auf meiner Mail keiner antwortet, muss es wohl in die Rezension.
