Ich bin grosser College Sports Fan......................bessere quali, dann 5 stars

ACCN, SECN and several other channels are totally unwatchable. If you try and cast using the app, the screen freezes every time there’s an interruption for commercials. I noticed this months ago and contacted customer support and they informed me that “it’s a known issue”. For the amount of money it cost for a subscription it’s pretty ridiculous that this has been a known issue and hasn’t been fixed. It completely ruins the experience.

Casting on Chromecast does work.
However, everytime there is a commercial break it stops casting. Can‘t enjoy watching anything that way..

I like the new design of the app. But why is there no tvOS app? AirPlay isn‘t a solution, because it means some more steps and devices to enjoy sports.

I payed it now for months and it doesn’t work it always says there was a Problem Linking your Account. Hope I get my Money Back.

This get one star because it consistently shut off on it own. And it should be compatible to the Apple TV in reality this app get a -star one star is too much

very confusing payment and unsubscribe feature.... the ESPN annual pass does not appear into the list of all Apple Apps subscriptions ..and it is impossible to unsubscribe during the free trial in the App.... very poor UI & customer experience when you try to get out!!!!
Is it made on purpose?

It is 2020, people are watching sports on the big screen, ever heard that at ESPN? Get your act together and release an AppleTV App finally. Airplay is not a solution, it is a temporary fix for you not being able to provide the proper solution. Come on, it’s 2020! Release your great content for the big screen!

Paid good money for the subscription... It worked for almost a year and now simply starts to load then shuts down...

Was a strong proponent of the model but not when I can't watch my games... Avoid the app until they fix it...

Not worth a single cent. Freezes and poor stream quality nearly everytime on a 200 MBit connection. No native app for Apple TV or Smart TV. Wake up, it is 2020.
Update 2022: still unwatchable. Gave it a try and it's not worth any money. Poorest image quality I have ever seen. Constantly breaks the stream on a connection that can stream UHD streams easily.
NFL Gamepass shows how this should work.

Abgesehen davon, daß der Content unterirdisch ist (noch nicht mal die Werbepausen werden bei archivierten Spielen entfernt) - ESPNPlayer crasht beim Start, womit man auf dem iPad nichts schauen kann (fürs iPhone gibts ESPNPlayer gar nicht erst). Schaut Euch bei der NFL an wie man es macht und schämt Euch, ihr Gauner

Unfortunately the only way to watch College football. The streaming is not very good and sometimes just does not work. Very frustrating.

Useless. No proper support for the Apple AV adapter. Have to use the browser for HD streams to TV.

Habe mir den week-Pass für 2,99€ geholt, um den final table des Main Event im Poker LIVE zu sehen. Könnte man ja so annehmen, wenn man die espn Seite liest. Aber, so läuft das nicht. Das Event wird als Aufzeichnung einen tag später angeboten. Die Datenrate lässt im Laufe des streamings nach, am Ende kann man nicht mal mehr die Starthände in der Anzeige erkennen. Ton wird auch nicht übertragen. Für mich eine Enttäuschung

I’ve got the ESPN player only for College football and it works pretty good. But why is there no AppleTV app?

Replays can have a problem

Got the college pass for watching some bowl games. The App works, but I got one big point of criticism. Dear ESPN team please cut comrcial breaks from your on demand content. Watching a bowl game staring at the ESPN logo for a total of about an hour is so much less fun. Or please add a skip one minute button to your player. Thanks

Only streaming platform where I can watch some college football. Love it... especially with college gameday !!

Really awesometastic

Läuft problemlos auf dem iMac.
Auf dem iPad gibt es eine Reihe von Problemen:
1. on Demand
Immer ca. eine Stunde "ESPN 3 ........ " Bild, danach kommt das Spiel.
2. Nach ca. 30 Minuten erscheint die Meldung, das man noch an einer weiteren Device angemeldet ist. Danach wird der Bildschirm schwarz und ESPNPlayer. läst sich nicht mehr laden; muss neu installiert werden.

ESPN not able to deliver a functioning app. For the 100+€ subscription I paid I call it fraud!

Still waiting for an app for the Apple TV. If this is available u get 5 stars and I renew my membership
