The app keeps freezing and notifying there was no internet connection while my phone is connected to WiFi or has an active mobile internet package. At the same time push notifications still function, however, the actual news articles do not open and the app page appears blank. Very unfortunate and disappointing. This has been continuing since last year.

Since I switched my old iPhone 7 for a new iPhone 13 mini, I’m no longer able to scroll articles while reading them. Pages don’t scroll when they should, and do scroll when they shouldn’t. Interaction has become a complete game of luck and I don’t suceed in completing my reading of articles I am interested in. I value Al Jazeera English and hope you find a way to fix this.

you cant click on push mails because the app continues to freeze. Sometimes you cant even open the app.

Even though I do appreciate the information of/the journalisms of Al Jazeerah very much, I find it hard to deal with the current app: it did not open in a reliable way on my i-phone X and now it stopped completely. Even reloading/new installation does not help...

On the one hand I do very like the journalism of Al Jazeera and I prefer it to CNN or other English-speaking news because I consider it to be more objective and I appreciate the fact that there are barely advertisements during the program. On the other hand the app is unclearly structured and AirPlay streams only audio and no video to my Apple TV. The old version of the app had no problems to stream audio plus video. I think the German "Tagesschau" app is an example for a better structured news app. At the end five stars for the journalism, but only three for the app by itself.

AJ app covers geographical areas and topics that are difficult to find quality news for and get easy access to in-depth analysis. Like to have a perspective and view from their angle of the world.

Whilest most other contender simply...run, Aljazeera relies either on inept app developement, or there is a serious case of self sabotage. Should this be a side effect of server problems or bad broadband infrastructure, it would be good, to inform customers. Otherwise I find myself pondering the alternatives ignorance and incompetance.

Since the last update, this app stopped working in my iPhone 6. I hope a new version will fix the problem soon inshallah.

Generally speaking a good news app. Would love to watch news in videos. But unfortunately there is no video sound on any iOS device…please fix!

As for content: pretty rich and meaningful content.
On Aljazeerah English I have, btw, found
no evidence of the claim that AJ is biased
as some in the establishment in GCC
countries claim. A good news app, anyway
with rather professional journalism.
