Of course the information this app provides is useful. It’s free and offers push notifications, which is awesome
I find the way the information is presented ok. But I’m having a hard time using it. Setting a push alert (maybe the most useful thing) is difficult. I never know when moving the map if also the area for push alerts changes. And the slide over oveelay with filters is just bad. Not usable at all, and not appropriate for such an important app. Please(!) invest into the app usability!

Die Grundfunktion stimmt, das Design ist gut, die Daten aktuell. Angenehm ist auch, dass es keine Werbung gibt.
Was noch fehlt sind Filter (Ereignistypen und -schwere, Zeit und Ort) und Push-Funktion, dann wär's schon fast perfekt. Man hätte halt schon irgendwie 'Alerts'.

With Disaster Alert, you can customize early warning alerts, view estimated impact reports, and access visualized modeled hazard data.
When no official source is available, alerts are updated manually by Pacific Disaster Center, presenting only a small lapse of time between the time of an event and the availability of information in the system.

Disaster Alert’s continuous stream of new information is automatically generated from the most reliable, scientifically verified sources.

When selected, the action menu will load additional options.
