It’s a nice time waster, but incredibly insanely expensive. Monthly subscription gives you two crosswords a day, but those are pretty obviously at least half auto generated and repeat their hints/solutions way too often. Other crosswords have to be bought extra for some hefty sums, in addition to the expensive subscription.
That’s not okay, but it’s still the best (and one of the only decent) crossword apps out there.
Still no proper iPad Pro Support. Runs, but does not use the whole screen.
Love the app, but most recent update seems to have removed the ‘recent’ puzzles section. Pretty bummed, otherwise 5 stars.

The new version is really good! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there isn't an undo.... Sometimes you press a letter by mistake and undo Would be great ...
ok, so the program downloads the crossword, and checks your entries. we could have had that in the 90s, but why does it crash so much?
simple to use and great puzzles... there are a few glitches in the programming that keep this from being 5 stars but it is still really good.
Puh, if English isn't your mother tongue, then solving the NYT crosswords is far from easy. I'm German and alwyas thought my English to be ok, but I only manage to solve around 40% on my own. But I hope to get better ^_^ There's always the possibility to check on words, reveal letters etc. So you can always find a way to solve it. The enter modes are easy to use and you can choose from a broad variety of crosswords. This app offers you a lot for being free! I'd recommend it to anybody who likes to solve crosswords and whose English level is above average!!
Love the app. Could do with a nighttime mode. Sometimes I can’t sleep and don’t want my eyes to get too much contrast.

Excellent puzzles, good interface.
Man hat anfangs kostenlos die Premiumversion und Zugriff auf alle Rätsel. Selbst später in der kostenlosen Version hat man noch Zugriff auf das Rätsel des Tages und jeweils das erste Rätsel jedes neuen Rätsel-Pakets sowie auf einige kostenlose Rätsel-Pakete kompletten Zugriff.
Alles in allem echt gut und amüsant!
