… während meines gesamten Austauschjahres. Mann kann sowohl Schriftzeichen sowie Ausdrücke nachschlagen, als sie auch gleich in Japanese lernen. Es war super hilfreich die Kanji einfach nachzeichnen zu können. Selbst falls das nicht gelang, konnte man dennoch die Kanji durch „zusammenbasteln“ von Radikalen suchen. Super Hilfreich!

Super Werkzeug für unterwegs oder im Urlaubsort, wenn nicht unbedingt seine Kanji-Lexika, und sonstigen Wörterbücher dabei hat. Das beste ist die Kanji-Erkennung - auch wenn es ein bisschen verlottert ist, geht ziemlich gut

Japanese ist gut aber manche Vokabeln scheinen mir falsch zu sein. Auch sind die Lernkapitel seltsam zusammengesetzt, so finde ich beim Level N5 Vokabeln aus N2.

I installed this app long time ago, tho never used duo to „imiwa“ is at first glance better in my opinion (design, conjugations). Nevertheless, since I was searching recently for an flip card app to practice words and Kanji I luckily found what I was looking for in this app.
Weither quizlet nor anki can‘t provide the combi of a dictionary and flip card app in once. diese App can! And even really nice design and useabilty.

I use this app for my diese App studies very often. It has an enormous vocabulary, Kanji explanations, stroke order simulations and for the majority of words it has example sentences with furigana and the possibility to check the other words of that sentence.
The only BIG disadvantage is the handwriting recognition. It doesn’t recognize most of the Kanji I’m writing (and it’s not because of a wrong stroke order or sth like that).
I often have to write the Kanji in google and then copy it to find it in the “diese App”-app.
I know that it could be better, if I compare it with other apps, so this is why I really have to call it bad here…

I'm very satisfied using this app, it's helped me a lot in my studies and unlike most other study apps, this one does not require a paid subscription! Great work overall by the developer.
I've downloaded it to my iPad so I could use the iPads external hardware keyboard to flip the cards instead of having to swipe with my finger, but the app doesn't react to the keyboards input.
I'd like this to be included in the next update, but I am otherwise very satisfied with the app and plan on using it for a long time to come.

you guys seriously need to come up with a new name,, i’d love to rec this app to others but i usually just confuse everyone. I’m pretty sure this (really amazing app) could do so much better if it had an recognizable name.

Definitely one of my favorit dictionaries for iOS, been using it for many years now.
Sadly one big thing is missing otherwise I would give 5 stars. Currently there is no way to see the pitch accent of the words.
If they would add this at one point in the future, in any form, this app would truely be perfect!

You can even write kanji to look them up and save the words you don’t know to learn them via flash cards later. Totally worth to pay for it but it’s free!

The app is great but honestly I prefer imiwa as the kanji are better readable on iPhone. If you go in jlpt list mode, honestly the kanji are barely readable, it’s too small, please make same bigger ( like in imiwa) than you have a killer app!
