Stitcher for Podcasts Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Die niedrige Bewertung Stitcher ist meiner Meinung nach nicht nachvollziehbar. Stitcher lässt sich sehr gut bedienen - wenn man sich 5 Min. Zeit nimmt das System zu verstehen - läuft absolut stabil und hält 100 % von dem was sie verspricht - kostenlosen Zugang zu englischsprachigen Podcasts per Stream. Wenn man sich dafür interessiert, also nicht von den niedrigen Bewertungen irritieren lassen und laden! Meine Empfehlung: Here's The Thing von und mit Alec Baldwin.

diese App ist ein toller Service. Ich kann live und on demand meine liebsten Podcasts hören, ohne Download und Sync und das ganze kostenlos, ruckelfrei, in guter Qualität und ohne Werbung.
Stitcher bedient sich manchmal ein bisschen umständlich und es fehlt der eine oder andere Podcast, dafür entdecke ich regelmäßig neue Shows, die ich dann sofort zu meinen Favoriten packe. Im Auto läuft praktisch nichts anderes mehr.

Es gibt nur eine einzige Chance seine Podcasts von Apple Podcast zu importieren, und das nur bevor man die Möglichkeit hat Stitcher auszuprobieren.

Kein Download, nur Streaming. Doof, wenn man einen iPod hat. Zurück zu Podcaster.

Ohne die eigene Adresse herauszurücken geht gar nichts.

No question the best designed and thought-through radio / offline / podcast type app out there. I use it for my weekly commutes and love discovering new shows. Only slight improvements would be:
1) better stability when connecting to USB software in car. On some cars (e.g. BMW) it is stable as a rock but on some other models (e.g. Mini) it will crash every 2-3 hours. Could be a car model issue too.
2) would be nice to have the feature to automatically download "favourite" programs in the background on a schedule if on wifi so that the latest shows are ready when I grab my phone for the road.

Other than that...brilliant!

diese App has been my favourite app since I discovered it but the new design makes it even better.
I have lived in many places in the world and this is the best way to keep up with my favourite radio programs from all the different countries.
The suggestions are spot on, too.
If you have a smart phone or tablet and love radio you need this app!

Another example of how to butcher a good app through sloppy redesign... Useful/essential features are gone (on/off switch for continuous playback of episodes), navigation is now more complicated for no reason (tiny icons, unnecessary reposition of features), user settings (favorite shows & played) are scrambled/lost and new features are implemented halfheartedly (new grouping function with no way to edit the order of the groups).
Of course, new design is always a matter of taste but the rest is actually just amateurishly bad work.
What a disappointing belly flop...

I only use this app because it’s the only way to get Freakonomics Premium Content.

What I don’t like:

Always wthe I resume content this woman tells me “resuming content” - why?!! I know I pressed the play button! I always think: “Shut up I want to hear my content not you!!!”

I get notifications about new episodes from shows I have played but are not in my favorites. Seems to be no way to disable this so I disabled all notifications about new episodes.

Sometimes I cannot start playing new episodes and error messages show up (might be more a problem of freakonomics)

I cannot easily see which episodes have been downloaded.

I wish they would simple make a personalized RSS feed available so zu could subscribe to that :-(

I downloaded diese App because it is suported directly in my car entertainment system. But it proved the worst podcast app I have used so far. The user interface is very confusing and pushes so many recommendations on you that it is hard to find the podcasts you have subscribed to. It is impossible to determine the download status or automatically remove previous episodes. Sometimes, a different podcast than the one last played will play, seemingly at random. Overall it has proven completely unusable.

The latest update brought a new design of the app. In my case, this destroyed the user experience of the app, because all my playlists are gone, irretrievable. So I cancelled my subscription and deleted the app. Destroying a significant part of the app by updating it is a huge no go. I‘m not happy with this decision, but sometimes you have to let go.
The new app looks nice though. So 2 stars.

The newest update is awful. It's much harder to use than it was before. I can't arrange a playlist the way I want to, it doesn't allow me to arrange my downloads by show, and the start page is cumbersome. If I hadn't already paid for a year's subscription, I'd back out.

I find the "saving"/ "favorite" system with the star nonsense a bit neurotic,
otherwise I'm happy with it!

I live outside the US this is a great way for me to keep in tune. I highly recommenSticheet.

Es funktioniert und ist umsonst was wollt ihr noch

I cannot automatically add episodes to my playlist, it does not download automatically and I sometimes cannot even find podcasts. I only use for premium content.

At all… i cant even log in. Trash app.

I'm not convinced! No background play, no really free search, no german stations.
