Arc Erfahrungen und Bewertung

... sehe ich leider nicht und der Support antwortet nicht. Arc funktionierte vor einem Monat, nur eben die Synchronisation nicht. Der Support nahm sich dem an, löste das Problem jedoch nicht.

Ansonsten innovativer Browser, aber ohne mac nicht benutzbar.

I love the design and the idea. And it works great on Mac. But! I want to use it on my iPhone but I simply can‘t. My Mac is from my employer and iCloud sync is disabled due to security policy. But because of that, the iPhone app is completely useless because it doesn‘t let me use it due to not being able to sync. Why can‘t it work standalone? That is so stupid. You are forcing people to open an account. Fine, but then you add another obstacle by enforcing sync. That is ridiculous.

Der Sync ist absolut fehlerhaft - ständig werden alle Bookmarks der meisten Spaces gelöscht.

So taugt dieser Browser zu nahezu nichts. Tolles Design ja, aber damit arbeiten, keine Chance.

I love the Mac version.

But what in the world is this iOS app? You can literally only open 1 single tab at a time. Because… we’re suddenly 15 years ago?
That’s offensively dumb. I keep asking myself how the dev team would even consider such a preposterous decision. And yet, they did it. Go figure.

I am sure they found some twisted weird rationale.. but the obvious reality is: IT DOES NOT WORK! If a website reloads every time you visit it, then it is not a tab, but a bookmark. It feels like it’s a mere reader for tabs you open on the Mac, and not an iOS browser on its own.

It’s infuriatingly frustrating and unintuitive to navigate between different sites. I am dumbfounded by the audacity the had to release such an insanely terrible implementation of their browser. Right now, diese App for iPhone is a shameful taint on a rather revolutionary product.

I first downloaded it, gasped in sheer disbelief for a moment, then deleted it. Then downloaded it again, because I thought “it can’t be, I must have gotten it wrong”. But no, it’s was really a single tab navigation train wreck.

Ich hatte mich echt auf den Browser gefreut. Leider kann ich ihn nicht nutzen, da ich keinen Mac besitze, sondern nur ein iPhone und ein iPad und ich nur mit Account mich anmelden kann und man einen Mac braucht, um einen Account zu erstellen..

Zum initialen Aktivieren des Accounts benötigt man einen Mac. Wer also „nur“ ein iPhone hat, kann sich Download und Warten auf eine Einladung folglich sparen.

Leider lässt sich nur gleichzeitig ein Fenster öffnen beziehungsweise ein Tab. Dies erinnert mich an die Zeiten des Internet Explorer 6, in dem es keine Tabs gab. Hier muss schnell nach gebessert werden, da Arc in dem Zustand nicht benutzbar ist. Für den schnellen Zugriff beziehungsweise zum links rauskopieren prima, aber für mehr auch nicht.

Arc hat wie ihre Desktop-Version einen schönen Look. Aber im Vergleich zur Desktop-Version fehlen hier relevante Features: Mehrere Tabs gleichzeitig öffnen? Workspaces verwalten? Diese Feature wirklich vor dieses seltsame „In diesem Menüpunkt wird ein glossy Ticket angezeigt“-Feature zu stellen sagt schon viel aus. Würde den Browser gerne auch Desktop weiter nutzen, dazu müssen meine Devices aber in-sync sein.

Man MUSS einen Mac besitzen, was ich nicht tue. Ich habe diese App auf dem Arbeitsrechner installiert und wollte es auch auf meinem privaten iPhone installieren, jedoch MUSS der Account erst auf einem Mac erstellt werden - ok. Aber dieser muss ebenfalls mit derselben Apple-ID verbunden sein und ich werde garantiert nicht auf meinem Arbeitsrechner meine private ID hinterlegen.

I understand, it is a first release. But come on, how could you scratch syncing favorites from your list of important features for the first release? I’d exchange it instantly for all the superficial color customization shenanigans. 🤷‍♂️

Why are you forcing me to use icloud sync? Seems like I made a mistake by logging in in iPhone app and since then all I see is ,,No tabs in icloud" dialog and I am stuck there.

Maybe I just don't want tab sync and just want to use the browser? This is really a terrible UX, there is not even a close button on the screen.

Basically I just have to uninstall the app and reinstall it and use it without an account.

Hey folgendes problem ich habe meine icloud voll und bin auf beiden geräten (mac und iphone) mit der selben icloud angemeldet habe allerdings icloud sync ausgeschalten man kann in der diese App mobile app nicht fortfahren solange die Synchronisation ausgeschalten ist allerdings kann ich sie auch nicht anschalten momentan da wie gesagt meine icloud voll ist.

An sich ein erfrischendes Konzept eines Browsers, jedoch fehlt mir die Möglichkeit zu Multi-Window sowie eine dezidierte iPad-Version. Diese wäre mir persönlich am allerwichtigsten, da ich im mobilen Bereich hauptsächlich mit dem iPad surfe.

Ich nutze diese App auf den Desktop und auch auf dem Handy sehr gerne. Sehr schön wäre es aber, wenn ich diese App anstatt Safari als Standardbrowser einstellen könnte. Das können andere mobile Browser schon lange und sollte nicht mehr fehlen.

Zuerst mal: scheint echt gut zu sein, coole Funktionen, man kommt direkt in ein sehr ansprechendes Menü. Allerdings braucht man zum Nutzen einen verknüpften Mac, was den Browser für mich leider unbenutzbar macht. Kann es bitte auch eine eigene, frei nutzbare Version vom Browser geben? Wäre echt super, weil alles was ich davon gehört habe klingt wirklich gut!!!

I love diese App! Really changed how I use the internet, especially on my Mac!

One feature request: I’d really like the possibility to put it in landscape mode. Somehow on my iPhone diese App always stays in portrait!

Love the app and approach. I’m wishing for two things: 1. IPad Version. 2. Easy way to open a tab in safari as long the companion app is not iPad ready.

With the release of the companion app I am finally switching to diese App. Please add the favorites to the app as well.
Now we just need a windows release and this Browser will be perfect for my needs!

The diese App app is a really nice companion to the diese App browser for Mac (and hopefully soon for Windows as well). For now, at least the stored pages are syncing, but I am really looking forward to a lot of more features in the future (including, but not limited to: Favorites, temporary tabs, default browser option, …)!

Ich liebe den diese App browser und würde nie wieder einen anderen Browser verwenden, aber die ios app ist leider sehr enttäuschend.
Es ersetzt safari nicht und ist somit nur eine Möglichkeit auf die Spaces zuzugreifen, die auf dem Desktop verwendet wurden.

Dinge wie Tabs wechseln, Links in neuen Tabs öffnen funktionieren entweder nicht, oder nur umständlich.

Sehr schade, ich finde diese App hat auch auf dem iPhone sehr viel Potential und ich würde gerne safari für immer hinter mich lassen.

I like that it show same tabs that a desktop one, but I’m still struggling with idea that I need to create a pin for e as chat tab that I want to review later, there just no such thing as other tab at mobile version. Or I can’t just found it. Anyway, appreciate if it could be fixed. Have a temporary tab better than only one available

Ich liebe das design und das interface, aber zwei features wären mir wichtig:

- Passwort-manager
- mehr Einstellungsoptionen

Daher kann diese App google chrome noch nicht ganz für mich auf dem iPhone ersetzen, wenn Arc ein vollwertiger browser ohne abstriche wird ist es für mich klar die Nummer 1 ☺️

…all das, was man bei anderen Browsern seit Jahren vermisst. Unglaublich nahbare Entwickler, welche sich nach meiner bisherigen Erfahrung (ca. 4 Monate) sehr viel Zeit nehmen, um das Feedback der Nutzer:innen zu hören und ernst zu nehmen. Kurze Update-Intervalle, extrem flüssig und schnell. Ich kann bisher nur positives berichten. Jetzt auch endlich für iOS und hoffentlich bald iPadOS. Keep up the good work! 🤓☝️⭐️

Hier sind eindeutig Top Entwickler am Werk die Ihr Handwerk verstehen! UI/UX ist fantastisch und die Synchronisierung ebenso.

Das ist endlich ein Browser der NICHT ist wie alle anderen und hier definitiv neu Maßstäbe setzt. Hier werden vor allem neue Funktionsweisen und Arbeitsweisen in den Vordergrund gestellt und die machen den Unterschied!

Bitte bitte noch die Funktion hinzufügen, dass man diese App als Main Browser einstellen kann hinzufügen. 👍

Gerne bezahle ich auch zb eine Pro Version, damit gute Arbeit auch lohnenswert bleibt. Ich lege gerne einen Zehner monatlich dafür hin.

There is a bug, namely, if you open a folder and close it before the animation finishes, the folder becomes invisible.

Some functions aren’t implemented yet, but they’re developing pretty fast and actively. Looking forward to see more nice things pop up in the App.

The new diese App browser for mobile is a game changer. I love the design and intuitive interface. The browser is fast and has many features that make it stand out from the crowd. I also like that everything is synchronized between devices. I highly recommend the browser to everyone.

diese App is really a very outstanding browser, very snappy and the spaces make ideal to have my work from my private stuff. I never liked the profiles, because some plugins need authentication and worse when only one session can be connected.

Only one thing you need to add ASAP, make it as the default browser for iOS.

Also ich fange mal an. Das Konzept von diese App geht voll auf. Den diese App Browser gibt es erstmal nur für den MAC aber man arbeitet laut dem Hersteller an einer Windows Version.
Ich hatte das Glück und durfte mir diese App auf den Mac laden und will NIE wieder einen anderen Browser. Er ist der schnellste mit dem ich je gearbeitet habe! Und er befindet sich noch in der Betaphase☝🏼.
Da kann Google, Firefox und Apple noch dran arbeiten bis die mal das Level erreichen.
Arc hier Spiegel quasi den diese App auf dem Computer wieder und alles ist voll Funktionsfähig. Deshalb auch die Registrierung per email.
Mann kann mit Arc hier auch über das Suchfeld Seiten öffnen und anpinnen. Diese sind dann auf dem diese App Browser auf dem Mac 1 zu 1 verfügbar!
Sogar der Cookieblocker und Ad Blocker von diese App den ich mir über extensions installiert habe werden auf Arc gespiegelt. Einfach klasse!!!

Ich nutze diese App jetzt schon seit etwa zwei Wochen und kann nur über positives sprechen. Der Adblock funktioniert super, Hotkeys sind einfach zu verwenden und das Design ist schlicht und dennoch wunderschön.

was dem Browser Markt passieren konnte. diese App ist seit jetzt fast drei Monaten mein Default Browser und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, auf irgendeinen anderen zurück zu wechseln. Und ich hatte sie fast alle. Jetzt auch der Launch auf Mobile - perfekt!

diese App ist seit langen mal wieder ein Browser der jeden anderen Browser in den Schatten stellt. Freue mich schon darauf wenn Arc auch soweit ist. Bis jetzt ist es ein toller Browser der toll mit Safari mithält.
