I heard this app was supposedly great. However the login page doesn’t work (using metapixl). And there is no email or similar on the dev‘s homepage. Would love to try it out, but current state is unusable for me.

I like the clean, clutterless UI, it puts the pics at the front, and everything else a tap away. Only one thing bugs me: pinch to zoom always zooms from the center. There’s just no way to navigate around within the picture when zoomed in (edit: you can move left and right, but not up and down).

Prettiest Pixelfed client in the AppStore, easy to use, but I liked the old name and icon way better.

I’ve tried Vernissage as an alternative to the official Pixelfed-app which is still in Beta-state. Flawless integration into my instance, already looks very mature and modern. Infos on the specific instance can also be displayed and even editing of the own profile is possible. Great (free) app which definitely deserves a tip - despite being new, it shines a little bit more than the current app by Pixelfed itself!

I love this wonderful app. It’s my main way for viewing pixelfed.

It would be great if it gets an own version for iPad with a tiling view for the content. Looking forward to it 😉

Focusing on what pixelfed is about - images. Puts them into perfect frame.
