Notion Calendar Erfahrungen und Bewertung

I really want to love cron as it is in non-mobile version, but the app lacks a lot of core features as a calendar should have. 1. Only max. three days view is basically unusable for events that last longer than 3 days. You don't have a overview of how long events last and where the coming events far than 3 days start. 2. No indicator of all events in a day. Events are scattered throughout the board, only all-day events are pinned at the top. You have to scroll up and down, left and right to know your days. It's very inconvenient. An quick overview of days and a month is very important in a form factor of small gadgets like phones, because we don't have the privilege of a big screen like in desktop.

I’ve been using Cron for MacOs for a while now where it’s become my absolute favorite calendar app. Great design, tight integration with keyboard shortcuts, awesome menu bar widget, etc.

On iOS the story is similar. Same great design, imo the best Home Screen widget, and many the integrations of the desktop app like meetings have carried over.

There’s still some instability and a couple of features are missing, but the app is very new and it’s already better than most calendar apps.

Cron really is the calendar app that I’ve been missing in my life.

Randomly quits or doesn’t even open at all. Keeps showing black screen instead of error. I was really looking forward to using it but so far wasn’t able to :/

Is this a joke? No O365 either?

I am thoroughly impressed with the cron calendar. Its minimalistic design is exactly what I was looking for. The lack of month and week views is a major plus for me, as I often find those views to be overwhelming and distracting on mobile devices. I appreciate the simplicity of the cron calendar and find it to be the perfect tool for keeping track of my schedule. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sleek and uncluttered way to manage their time.

Really sweet app. I love how simplified it is. With an additional month view / week view it’d be awesome!

And: the ‘today button’ just randomly breaks A LOT and brings me to the start of the current month.

It never shows me the actual date. Only the first 3 days of the month

Great app but missing a few things which are necessary for a calendar app in my opinion:

- notification badge for todays events
- Apple Watch compilations
- monthly view
- possibility to add loca iPhone calendar

Look and feel is really very beautiful, for me this is an important „element“

But sadly quite useless, because only google calendar is supported.
In 2023 nobody is working / living with only one calendar service.
And you don’t want to use 2 or more calendar apps

What about iOS calendar, O365 integration?

No iPad version. With more than half a billion iPads sold.
No landscape mode, so cannot even use the iPhone version on the iPad.

I like the idea of creating a blocker on another calendar for an event on one.

So being a huge fan of Notion, I thought cool, integrated calendar for Notion. It’s was a red flag, that this was a separate app, but ok, I thought I could probably log in with my Notion account. Imagine my surprise that I had to log in with Google! So I did! Imagine my even larger surprise that Google is the only Calendar I can import into this.
So other than being a separate skin for Google Calendar, and piggybacking on the popularity of Notion, it’s just an empty shell.

I mean at least it’s free… so there is that?

The love and attention to detail in the Cron calendar app was my main reason for using it. Now that they have done a rebranding by notion it looks so terrible that I actually deleted the app and went back to using google calendar.

So sad!

The default calendar app has more features.
There is no reason to use this app over the default.
Can't add any existing calendars (besides Google). Can't subscribe to online calendars.

Unfortunately this app is useless as I can’t sync it with my apple calendar. And there’s no option to few the whole month.

bro this app is not finished. I guess an intern (unpaid) wrote it in 2 weeks of internship. What the actual hell. 1-2-3 days view only? Not a week? Not a month? No widget? It is laggy and offers nothing.

The app is great but I need an extra version for my iPad. Pls fix.

Hey yall, I‘m a big fan of notion and notion calendar, however there are two super important things missing: a monthly overview and an IPAD Version of this app. Please please fix this asap!!

Cron is nice. But an iPad App is needed.

Ich finde NotionCalendar sehr gut und liebe generell Notion für das schöne Design allerdings würde ich mir eine schöne Monatsübersicht wünschen, in der man auch für jeden Tag die Ereignisse sieht und nicht vorher erst jeden Tag anzuklicken.

Nach der Installation mach NotionCalendar einen aufgeräumten Eindruck. Wichtige Funktionen sind schnell erreichbar und NotionCalendar wirkt nicht überladen! Aber: da ich meinen Notion-Abo über meinen Apple Account registriert habe, ist NotionCalendar für mich nutzlos! Wann wir es eine Kompatibilität zur Apple geben?

The app is designed well but the main value of this extra calendar app is the integration with Notion, which J personally could not figure it out in the app.
In addition, there is no option to request account deletion in the app, which is a standard nowadays.
And, the app crashes when I try to log out of my account!
Super disappointing experience from a well known product “Notion”.

This could replace Google calendar, iOS native calendar, Fantastical … some features are missing:
- full week view
- full month view
- min height for appointments like in google calendar would be great so the title is always readable
- higher contrast, small details are hard to read
- Lock Screen widget needs thicker fonts, super hard to read on a lot of background images

Leider fehlt weiterhin die iPad Version. Auch die fehlende Einbindung des Apple Kalender ist sehr schade.

NotionCalendar an sich ist voll in Ordnung leider finde ich voll schade, dass es keinen Monatsübersicht gibt!

Leider keine Möglichkeit CalDav anzubinden, nutze keinen Google oder Apple Kalender, sondern einen von IONOS. Blöd, dass das nicht funktioniert.

Es gibt keine Monatsansicht, in der man die Termine sehen kann, sondern nur 1-3 Tage Ansichten. Daher für mich leider unbrauchbar.

gimme an Ipad version pls

Leider fehlt die weiterhin die Version für das iPad. Für mich ist die Kalender App daher leider nicht zu gebrauchen.

Mir erschließt sich das Konzept dieser Kalender-App nicht. Sie kommt zwar schöner und übersichtlicher daher als das Apple Original, kann aber außer Google keine Kalender einbinden. Sorry, aber wenn ich eine separate App für meinen Google-Kalender brauche, lade ich mir die Kalender-App von Google. Eine Kalender-App auf einem Smartphone sollte sämtliche Kalender konsolidiert anzeigen können. So hat das Ganze keinen Mehrwert.

Sieht sehr gut aus, aber es fehlt eine Monatsübersicht und die Integration Google-fremder Kalender. 👎

Hätte echt gerne eine Notion Calender iPad App - das würde mich sofort zum wechseln motivieren! Sonst echt super

Bitte dringend eine Monatsansicht Updates bei dem man die Termine in einer Vorschau wie bei Google Cal sieht und auf einen Blick weiß wann was ansteht! Danke:)

Hat meine Account mit Apple synchronisiert geht da nicht beim Kalender

Ein Kalender für iOS, dem aber die Integration von Apple oder Microsoft fehlt? Wenig hilfreich. Leider.

Ich müsste erst meine iCloud Kontakte mit Google synchronisieren um die Geburtstage meiner Kontakte anzuzeigen.

Für mich ist NotionCalendar ohne die Verknüpfung mit meinem Notion Konto, welches ich mit einer Apple-ID erstellt habe, NUTZLOS.

Daher würde ich mich freuen wenn es in Zukunft die Möglichkeit geben würde, auch andere E-Mail Adressen für NotionCalendar zu nutzen.

NotionCalendar ist wirklich super. Allerdings vermisse ich die iPad-Version, um den Notion-Calendar auf allen meinen Geräten nutzen zu können.

Ich liebe Notion und nutze es zum planen meines privaten und proffesionellen Alltags. Daher freute ich mich sehr als ich den Kalender sah.!

Leider ist dieser allerdings zu aufgeräumt... vor allem die Übersicht eines ganzen Monates, bei dem man tage mit Einträgen markiert sieht, fehlt. Das ist ein Dealbreaker für mich da ich immer wieder durch die tage durchscrollen muss.

Bitte fügt eine Monatsübersicht für NotionCalendar hinzu, nur die drei Tagesansicht sind zu wenig

Ansonsten finde ich NotionCalendar gut gestaltet und aufgeräumt und leicht zu bedienen

Schlecht: -Keine Ipad Version (sehr schlecht)
- Keine 5 oder 7 tage ansicht

NotionCalendar ist einfach tausend mal besser als jede andere Kalenderapp. Sie ist minimalistisch, clean und einfach toll. Zudem funktioniert sie tadellos und kann alles. 10 von 10 Sternen!!!!
