Ich habe Authenticator ausversehen mal gelöscht weil ich kein Speicher mehr hatte. Nachdem ich sie für die Codes wieder installieren wollte, waren alle verknüpften Konten weg. Weil ich nicht das Premium Paket hatte. Jetzt hab ich keinen Zugriff mehr auf alle Konten die ich mit Authenticator verknüpft hatte.

Nur ein Code speicherbar in der Free Version und daher total unbrauchbar, das einzig nützliche ist, das man den code von der Apple Watch abrufen kann…

Auf der Suche nach einem Backup für die 2FA Google diese App Konnfiguration bin ich auf diese App gestossen. Ich konnte problemlos die Google Autheticator Profile übertragen. Da ich mehr als 10 Profile hatte habe ich für 9,99 Euro im Jahr die Premium Version gekauft und es nicht bereut. Das Backup auf iCloud und die Synchronisierung zwischen iPhone und Mac funktioniert super! Ich bin sehr zufrieden!! Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag hätte ich für die MAC Version: Man sollte Authenticator in den Hintergrund legen können oder als Tray Symbol verfügbar machen. Die Applikation schliesst sich komplett wenn man diese wie anderer Apps auch mit dem roten Kreuzchen schliesst und man muß dann immer wieder das Passwort eingeben wenn man Sie benötigt. Hier wäre es schön wenn man die Option hätte die Applikation einmal zu öffnen und dann zumindest ein Zeitfenster X-Minuten bis zur autiomatischen Sperre Authenticator definieren könnte.

Wundebare 2FA App – Deviceübergeifend hervorragend (iCloud). Eine Mac Safari Erweiterung ähnlich aufgebaut wie 1Password, wäre wünschenswert :)

Im Grunde nur ein Code-Generator wie alle anderen, aber mir gefällt zum einen die Möglichkeit jedem Konto Backup-Codes beizufügen, zum anderen die Sicherheit, dass meine Codes in iCloud gespeichert werden.
