OffScreen Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Eigentlich unglaublich, aber wer OffScreen installiert, findet eine Chinese App namens „捷径社区“ in iCloud wieder. Absolut nicht vertrauenswürdig.

The basic functionality - tracking screen time - doesn't work if you don't give it *permanent* access to your location... Please give an option to people to use the app without such unnecessary tracking. As long as that's not possible, 1 star.

Man stellt mehrere OFF times ein und sobald man dann OffScreen schließt sind sie gelöscht. Es geht einfach nicht mehr obwohl es vorher ohne Update funktioniert hat… der Sinn OffScreen ist somit nicht mehr vorhanden.

Seit dem ich OffScreen hatte aber inzwischen gelöscht habe berichten mehrere Leute, dass eine App namens 捷径社区 in deren cloud Speicher auftaucht. OffScreen ist auch vom selben Hersteller und schon komisch dass die ohne Installation auftaucht

Kann ich nicht empfehlen

Very helpful in creating awareness about your screen time and reducing it longterm! Unfortunately it consumes too much battery!

The app is using 10% of my battery over the course of 24 hours even though it was running in the background only. iPhone 13mini.

I like the idea, but it needs far too much battery.

Love the concept of the app and would love to use it. However, every time that I leave my phone locked for longer periods of time (say 2-3h for sports practise), the app stops counting and starts over again telling me that I force quit it (which I didnt). If that bug is fixed, I would happily give 5 stars, but with the bug the app is sadly rendered quite useless.

An sich eine wirklich gute App, für dieses Thema besser als alles andere. Aber die Liste der erlaubten Ausnahmen umfasst weder den Einsatz des Handy als Telefon und auch nicht als Navi im Auto beim Autofahren. Hier warte ich dringend auf Nachbesserungen, sonst bleibt mir nur übrig, sie wieder zu löschen.

The dynamic island feature is not working properly. Either not showing or showing the wrong information. Also the same with the live activities.

es wäre schön wenn es OffScreen auch auf deutsch gäbe genauso dass mehr erhalten wäre ohne die pro version zu kaufen

Die Idee von OffScreen ist eigentlich sehr toll und sie hat auch viele gute Funktionen. Das Design ist auch ganz süß. Leider verbraucht sie extrem viel Akku (22%???) und ich versteh nicht so ganz, wieso das rund um die Uhr den Standort tracken muss. Damit man beim Laufen nicht so oft aufs Handy guckt? Manch einen interessiert das vielleicht nicht, aber OffScreen funktioniert nur mit Standort tracking. Das missfällt mir, weshalb ich sie wieder lösche. Ohne das würde ich auf jeden Fall das Abo kaufen.

I have a question: I tried to block certain websites such as YouTube, but I can still access them in the strict mode. The blocking seems to only apply to apps, which is pretty much useless for me. 🙈 or is there something I overlooked?

Good idea and would be definitely worth it to buy the premium version, but the screen time is pretty inaccurate and doesn’t track all the time. I’ve used my phone for two hours now and it still says an hour :|

Thanks for the cool app. I mainly bought it because of the Home Screen Widgets. But these are not available. Don’t see them in my list. I am German with German localization.

Pretty well made app. Unfortunately it only works with location access always on. And there's no way like pausing the whole tracking when a certain app is open/focused like for example Google Maps when using your phone as navi while driving.

Really helps to block certain app and use the phone a bit less. The timeframe rules are overall great and way better than apples approach. Also it’s harder to work around

Just missing a usage time based rule per app

It tracks your screen time, you have a challenge to use your phone lesser than an aimed screen time daily.
You’ve an off time where the app prohibits some of the apps’ usage.

So I’d say it’s pretty useful.

Ich liebe OffScreen, vor allem kann ich sie nicht so einfach wegdrücken, wir bei der „Bildschirmzeit“ beim iPhone. 🕖
Sie erinnert mich regelmäßig daran beim Laufen nicht auf das Handy zu schauen 👀
Sie erinnert mich daran mein Handy auch mal wieder weg zu legen. ⚠️

Eine tolle Ergänzung wäre die Funktion von “one sec” da kann man eine Wartezeit einstellen, bevor man eine App öffnet.
