Nebula – Videos and Podcasts Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Funktioniert, guter Content aber wirklich wenig Funktionen in Nebula. Mal sehen wie sich das entwickelt, gute Alternativen zu YouTube zu haben würde nicht schaden.

Nebula entwickelt sich super. Extra Punkte gibt es für die Apple TV Version, denn das bieten leider zu wenige. Noch ist Nebula nicht perfekt, aber es funktioniert doch fast alles, wie es soll. Vielleicht gibt es in Zukunft ja auch eine Integration in die Apple TV App?

Einer der Hauptgründe von YouTube auf diese App zu wechseln war dass ich mir sicher war dass der Bild-in-Bild-Modus unterstützt wäre! Aber das ist er leider nicht...

Ansonsten ist Nebula schön strukturiert und leicht nutzbar, ich hoffe dass Bild-in-Bild bald nachgeliefert wird, damit wären es fünf Sterne.

I Would appreciate it when it is possible to cancel the subscription in the app. Also, I would like to use Pay Pal. The app has a few bugs, but they aren't horrible. For example: if I go to the home screen The sound plays in the background but the video doesn't show up. Also, the video is loading slow. But otherwise, the app is good and I like the concept.

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf Nebula. Der Inhalt selbst würde fünf Sterne bekommen.

Die Buttons und Tap Targets sind zu klein. Es ist zum Beispiel super schwer, den Scrubber zu ziehen. Und warum sind der Play-Button und der Knopf, um an den Anfang zu springen so dicht beieinander? Sehr schade, dass man nicht in Nebula browsen kann, während das Video in PiP weiterläuft. Warum werden Videos nicht in voller Qualität offline gespeichert? Warum stockt und verschiebt sich das ganze Interface beim Nachladen von Inhalten beim Scrollen? Dazu kommen noch allerhand Bugs. Nebula hat also noch einen weiten Weg vor sich.

Also dass man sich einloggen muss oder halt einen Account anlegt, ist schon die erste Enttäuschung. Das hätte ich eventuell mitgemacht. Dann aber _muss_ man sich zwischen dem monatlichen oder jährlichem Abo entscheiden und da hört es auf. Man kann nicht mal reinschauen und sich dann entscheiden, ob man dafür zahlen möchte. App ist wieder gelöscht! Nein, danke. 💸

Wenn man auf Apple TV streamt, kann man nicht mehr zu späteren Stellen im Video navigieren.

Im really happy to support my favorite creators! The add quality diese App originals. I especially liked Polymatter's Macao video. The only thing that I would improve is the MiniPlayer of videos in the app. Out of ten I’d say 9/10

But please add a setting to delete multiple downloaded videos at once. That would be great. Other than that there nothing to complain about. Keep up the great work

I like the thought behind this project. But the fact that there’s no jump function implemented is the reason for the 3 stsr rating. Correct that and I’ll give you 5 stars.

Would be great if the video minimises like YouTube. And history, like YouTube. And better predictions… like YouTube!

I think the app is in a quite good state, but for me videos are not playing from time to time without that it would be 5 stars

I will not pay for things that I cannot try out beforehand. That will never work for me.
As much as I would appreciate an alternative to utube.
I will not pay for something - that also uses my data - just because it is not utube.

The app just tells me that the activation requires an active account and that the activation cannot be performed in the app.
When forwarded to the browser I can log in and use the service, but the app stays disconnected and cannot be used.

I'd love to get support for chromecast.
App is a bit cumbersome to use, especially with no share feature.
Content is getting better.

The iPad and Apple TV app works well. A very welcome improvement.

Was curious. Downloaded the App. Promted me to sign in. Don‘t have an account, wanted to create one. No possibility to do this within the app.

What audacity. Why don‘t you come up with your own hardware products and your own market place then?

I wrote to iTunes / App Store support about this. Pretty sure this violates the policies. Hope they throw you guys out!

Finde es wichtig, dass es Plattformen gibt, die YouTube Konkurrenz machen, allerdings ist diese App leider viel langsamer und kann Inhalte oft gar nicht laden. Dazu kommt naheliegender Weise das eingeschränkte Angebot. Hier muss noch sehr viel Arbeit investiert werden. Vermutlich ist die Plattform bis dahin aber schon pleite…

Unfortunately, I am unable to see any videos. Every time I want to watch something that is recommended on the home screen, I receive the message ”No videos found. Please check sign later.”
That's a disappointment, mainly because this service costs money.

Two reasons I signed up with diese App, to support my favourite creators and to be able to watch the videos more freely (no ad!). However, the PiP functionality in the app is not working. Please consider adding another feature that distinguish it from YouTube even more!

App says my account is locket but why? Its paid and works with the webpage.

So I got this with the offer Richie was promoting on his YouTube Channel. I like the content on this App and if you get it with CuriosityStream its a very good offer. I would however welcome Picture in Picture support and the option to browse for new content while watching content just like on YouTube. I’m excited for Richies upcoming Original series.

The internet desperately needs this: an alternative video platform to YouTube without tracking or targeted ads.

The App and platform itself still need work tho. Performance and loading time is not great. We are missing picture and picture. Etc. please keep up (and accelerate) the good work.

First of all, the app is much better than the website and I love the dark mode! But, there are some things which could be improved:
- a better CDN for faster loading times (I have bad internet and can‘t really watch diese App but I can watch YouTube with an OK quality)
- download in the background (as soon as I close the app the download fails)
- an „Add to Watchlist“ button
