I like the look of the app and it has potential but I will just tell you some problems I encountered while using the app:
When you select a habit to „morning“, „afternoon“, „evening“ or „anytime“ and later on what to change a „morning“ habit to a „anytime“ habit the data with in that habit is lost. For example: your streak :(
When I have done my morning habits, these habits are still at the top. I think this doesn’t really make sense because first of all the day moves on and secondly when everything is checked of move it to the bottom. Within the „morning“ habits its already doing it so why don’t move the whole morning bock to the bottom?
Sync doesn’t work. My first problem was that I wanted to use the app on two devices and I bought the subscription on my iPad but on my iPhone it still was the free to use subscription... I had to press restore purchases to get it on my iPhone. Both devices have the same iCloud acc, obviously, and have a stable internet connection but lazy bones doesn’t sync the accomplished habits or any other data between these devices. If automated syncing doesn’t work I’m also happy with a manual sync button in the settings
If you want to change the Color of a habit it isn’t as easily as pickable as you want it to be. A Color wheel would eliminate that problem. When I click custom Color a Color wheel pops up. While we are at Colors if you have made the habit, for example, white you won‘t be able to read the font. Because it’s also white. With the new Color wheel an option for custom fonts Colors would be pretty cool!
Why is the rep goal only till 15? What if I want to do 16 push ups? Or read 50 pages? And so on..
With habits you have at some point where you don’t want to let the chain die, This is a motivation factor for the habit right? So why is on the next day my streak at 0? The day isn’t over yet so I didn’t loose my streak? Instead of „Go for it!“ under each habit it should say your streak on where you are on so see it as a motivation.
If a habit is only on particular days. For example only on the weekends it should count only the weekends as a streak and don’t break the chain. Right now it breaks the streak at times where I don’t do the habit which is wrong. It should break the streak when I don’t perform the habit on days where I would usually perform the habit, right?
Don’t get me wrong the habit isn’t bad but all these problems add up to make it a not so user friendly experience.
When theses get fixed I will update my post and consider it a 5 star app
