The developers can only do so much to make reading enjoyable. In the end, they always have to show the source.

At that point, the experience drops of a cliff. Consent forms, cookie warnings, popups and ads have this far stopped me from reading even a single article. The web is simply not usable without content blockers anymore.

The app should open articles in Safari, because it supports content blockers and offers a reader mode.

I really love the idea of this app, but find the usability and design less than ideal. The interface is quite busy and feels a bit overloaded at times. Disabling notifications also doesn’t work: I still get just as many as before, despite selecting Disable Alerts. I also found it too hard to curate the feed towards news items I actually cared about. I’ll try it again in a few months.

Great aggregator of news in its original format! Finally an app that allows me to chose topics and locations as well as news outlets to follow.
