Rest Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Grundsätzlich kann man schnell Requests erstellen. Nur eine wichtige Funktion wie Variablen ist nur über In-App Kauf möglich. Das macht das Tool leider unbrauchbar. Ein Begrenzung von z.B. 10 Variablen zum Testen wäre hilfreich. So kann man Rest nicht nutzen.

Pros: well done from UI perspective. Clear and intuitive usage. JSON query support. JSON structure view, where you can navigate keys and list items as tree.

Cons: desperately missing central credential management or at least giving variables in Basic Auth. Desperately missing environments with different variable values. In a URL, keyboard doesn’t show {{}} signs although that would be needed to enter a variable.

Disappointed because I bought the Pro to use variables (esp. for authentication, also in different environments) and then it didn’t work and I can’t use this app. ☹️

... I couldn't figure out if/how a POST request with file upload from the file app works.

Use the app on a daily base to check different webservices and I just can recommend it. Did not find an issue tracker so I place my requests here (sorry).

1. It would be great if one could duplicate a request.
2. It looks like the json response is not in the order it was send, would be nice to have it in the order it‘s delivered.

Endlich ein Tool welches auf einem IOS Device dem Klassiker Postman das Wasser reichen kann.
Schön wären noch ein paar Auth-Methoden aber das kann ja noch kommen.
Danke für dieses nützliche Tool.

Works great, i have like 20ms response time to my local Rasperry Pi. I think it’s totally worth to unlock the features, especially to support the developer. I use it daily for my Shortcuts to controll Audio system and Home automations. Can fully recommend!
