This is the Official 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon App powered by TCS. The app provides event week and Marathon Day information and allows runners to track and record their virtual Virgin Money London Marathon run. Supporters can use it to follow participants’ progress and see where they would be on the traditional London Marathon route map and keep up with elite athletes’ split times, leaderboard positions and results as the live race action unfolds in St James’s Park. This year’s app also contains tailored advice for runners, to ensure they’re prepared for the big day and have the best possible virtual marathon experience. Runner Information NEW FOR 2020: Runners around the world can track their virtual Virgin Money London Marathon accompanied by an exclusive motivational audio experience. Find the information needed to plan Marathon Day in the dedicated Runner Info area of the app. Following runners in the virtual race Find your favourite runners and follow their progress as they take on the virtual Virgin Money London Marathon. Supporters will be able to view their tracked runner’s details, showing start time, distance covered, elapsed time, active time and finish time. Course Map NEW FOR 2020: Supporters will be able to follow their tracked runners’ progress and see where they would be on the traditional 26.2-mile London Marathon course on the interactive map. Elite Leaderboard NEW FOR 2020: For the first time ever, the elite races will take place on a looped course in St James’s Park. The live Leaderboard within the app will show updates on who’s ahead of the pack in the elite men’s, women’s and wheelchair races on Race Day. Social sharing NEW FOR 2020: Participants can share their marathon experience with #The40thRace hashtag using our London Marathon-themed selfie frames!
