Kayamkulam Philippose Ramban who was a Malankara Syrian Christian monk firstly translated few books of Holy Bible from Syriac to Malayalam.

After the Ramban Bible, it was Benjamin Bailey who continued the effort to transale the Bible to Malayalam and finally translated it enirely.
