Breaker The social podcast app Erfahrungen und Bewertung

If you are using the version which still have the social feature. The latest version removed the social feature, as well as the way to find the most popular episode of a specific show. It’s a piece of junk now, compared to the previous version I’d love to use.

I really like the UX of this app but recently my downloads delete themselves which makes breaker useless for me. I listen to podcasts when I’m traveling, I download all the episodes before I leave, when I open breaker on the plane none of the podcasts are there. It’s very frustrating

What did you change so that Breaker is all of the sudden consumed all my mobile data until I reached a limit, as I could see in my mobile data statistics? Any silent setting changes? I certainly didn’t. App was good, but goes to trash now. Goodbye Breaker, this was the worst experience.

I love Breaker! Great concept, (mostly) great UI and the social features make exploring podcasts more fun (the the user base is VERY heavily boded towards the tech/VC scene).
The app, however, could be muuuch smoother and, especially, faster. I feel like startup and refresh times are quite slow, ever when context is not being fetched from external sources.
Things have been getting better and more stable however! I hope for many more users and a lighting fast podcast experience. 💕

A straightforward app with all the basics I want plus a super easy way to share episodes with anyone, anywhere. I can leave comments for others and share the love with my likes. 💖

Breaker is a fantastic way to listen to podcasts. But honestly, it shines the brightest when it comes to discovery and sharing! I love the ability to like, comment, and share episodes with friends!
