Renews you’re subscription before the end of the trial period. Don’t do it.

Sorry but I cannot open it with my iPhone 8 Plus, latest iOS 12.2. It crashes when I want to open it.

App forces you into free trial with paid auto renewal if you won’t get through the trouble of canceling it. Do not even download unless willing to pay for yearly subscription!

Don‘t rely on the support and don’t sign up for a subscription. They charge wrong prices and never get back to you.
Seems like nobody is working there.

I get that developers need financing to provide this service and app. It’s well built and the content is great. But the fact that just starting the app will throw this pop-up is extremely annoying. Why not make it only when trying to use paid features? This is enough to deter me from subscribing.

You cannot read... just listen, so there goes one star. You can barely influence which articles you want to listen to... there goes another star. The voices are pretty annoying, that helped me from listening any article to the end, so one star less.

An sich eine gut gemachte App mit einem guten Probiermodell. Was aber tierisch nervt ist, dass wenn man sich Artikel zum hören auf die Playlist (Queue) gelegt hat, diese ständig wieder verloren gehen. Ich stehe jedesmal wieder mit einer leeren Queue da und darf von neuem Artikel suchen. Bitte diesen Bug beheben!

Update:
Nach nun einem ganzen Jahr Premium kündige ich mein Abo jetzt. Die Artikel sind zwar oft spannend, aber Curio ist noch immer so buggy wie vor einem Jahr. Es wurde sogar in den letzten Wochen noch schlimmer mit lauter Fehlern. Daher kann ich Curio leider nicht empfehlen. Sobald alle Fehler behoben sind, ist der Content das Geld wert.

I really enjoy both the design of this app, and the high quality content. But I signed up about a month ago for a yearly subscription specifically because I liked the daily “Wake up with diese App” edit, but there have been no new episodes since then, although it says they should come every Monday-Friday. There is no information on wether it’s been cancelled or when the next episode comes 🤔

I was also confused when checking my account on the website, it says I have an active subscription but it doesn’t say how long it’s running for. Seems a bit odd to me… 🤷‍♀️

diese App is a fantastic app providing me with great journalism that I can listen while my commute. Great stories from great magazines read by good voice over artist make a pleasant experience.

One of my favourite apps! I always come across such interesting articles I would have never discovered without diese App. Big thanks to the dev team for making the app run so smoothly!

I commute about 1h30min per day and diese App has become my faithful partner on those subway rides. I get to listen to articles I'd never have the time for from a great assortment of some of my favorite publications!!

Have been looking for an app like this for a while :)
