Todaii Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Unfortunately from one day to another the articles would not load. Despite having a internet connection the articles are not loading, the app says something about using a vpn (not sure as it is in Japanese) Luckily I didn’t buy the premium version when it was on offer. Real bummer.

Ich hatte Premium auf meinem alten Gerät (Samsung) gekauft. Jetzt wo ich aber ein neues (Apple) habe lies es sich nicht übertragen. Ich habe den selben Account auf beiden Geräten, habe sogar einen neuen nochmals erstellt falls es daran lag. Aber nein ich bekomme mein Premium nicht zurück. Selbst der „Käufe wiederherstellen“ Knopf macht nichts. Ansonsten top App

I purchased TODAI and the special offer told that I would receive Mazii and MIGII JLPT additionally. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the other two apps, thus the special offer tricked me into buying this (actually good) good.
Very uncomfortable!

Lerne aktuell Vokabeln mit Todaii und möchte sie mehr in den Alltag einbinden. Was mich im Moment stört das Todaii nicht vernünftig synchronisiert. Auf dem iPhone habe ich mehrere „Ordner“ mit favorisierten Vokabeln erstellt und kann die auf dem iPad nicht anrufen. In Todaii auf dem IPad werden mir nur die erstellten „Ordner“ ohne Inhalt angezeigt. Auch der Lernfortschritt wird nicht synchronisiert obwohl ich in beiden Apps mit dem gleichen Account angemeldet bin. Zudem ist gefühlt jede fünfte Vokabel komplett falsch übersetzt.

I really love the app and it’s features!
It makes reading Japanese so much easier. And you can customize stuff like the text size and font. Really great. There are so many additional functions. I still have to check out some of them.
But there is one problem which makes the app really inconvenient for non-englisch speakers: If you select any other language than „English“ as „Your language“ in the menu, the whole interface is in Japanese. For Japanese learners this can be frustrating. But if you chose „Englisch“ to be able to understand the menus and interface, you will not have the translations for your own language. My mother tongue is German - and yes I can speak English. But still I would love to have an English interface but still be able to have the German translations. If this would be fixed, the app is worth 5 stars for sure!

Really useful app but the user surface is in chinese and I don’t know how to change 🤔

for learning Japanese, unfortunately with a few minor bugs on iPad/iPhone, e.g. the back-button in the video section is not working properly (iPad): I can‘t leave the video section by tapping in the left upper corner, when a video is playing. I have to quit the whole app. Although I have purchased the lifetime version I encounter some advertisement from time to time (iPhone and iPad version).
When I try to select a picture for my avatar, I can‘t scroll through my pictures. The window closes immediately when I start to scroll. This occurs only in the iPad app. When I tap on the account logo, the image above the writing „Analytics“ is not shown properly (iPad/iPhone app): the weekdays are cut off.

Auf meinem Samsung habe ich Todai schon lange und bin begeistert. Auf meinem Ipad läuft aber nur eine japanische Version. Ich kann die Stelle nicht finden, wo ich die Sprache auf Englisch einstellen kann.
So kann ich Todaii nicht wirklich nutzen.

Ich bin gerade mit meinem Vokabular auf JLPT N4 und ansonsten zwischen N4 und N5. Todaii ist genial um Lesen zu üben und zeigt für schwierigere Wörter/Grammatik auch Hilfestellungen an.

Wenn jetzt noch WankiKani integration kommt, sodass ich nur bei den Kanji, die ich noch nicht kenne Furigana angezeigt wird, gibt es 5⭐️

Since my last review, the app has improved a lot.

It is now running without issues.
The only problem that I found as non-paying user is the fact, that the app seems unable to load commercials, so I can only read the daily minimum number of free articles.

Also the quality of translations is a lot better. The only thing which could be improved is the selection of voices which are used for reading the articles- they sound a bit metallic to me.

Overall I can recommend the app in its current state.
Thanks at the developers for those improvements.

Man kann mit Todaii nicht nur die neusten Nachrichten lesen sondern kann auch getestet werden Vokabel werden auch abgefragt und erklärt. Ich bin von Todaii sehr begeistert.

I have been looking for an easy way to read some basic Japanese texts to practice. But I am so satisfied with the whole extra features it offers like translating in the text directly, dictionary, flash cards, etc. I highly recommend it!

Overall very helpful and nicely done app. I definitely used it a lot for training reading faster in Japanese and it always increases my vocabulary.

I’m just very happy that an app like this exists, it makes my personal learning experience easier.

You can favorite and listen to áudios as well as make notes. One of my favorite features is the underlining of each word. For example: when the word is underlined blue it means it is an N5 vocabulary and so on.

A very big thank you to the creators and people behind this app.

Ist eine must have app wenn man such wirklich auch mal etwas anders mit Japanisch auseinander setzten will. Kann ich echt jeden empfehlen zumal Todaii eine kurze erklär Phase hat aber danach komplett nice und easy zu nutzen ist.

Die Grammatik-Teile der Artikel erscheinen immer auf vietnamesisch? Der Rest erscheint in der ausgewählten Sprache …. Wie kann man das ändern?

Perfect continuity for your daily learning process

Ich lerne seit 2 Jahren Japanisch und dank Todaii habe ich einen zugänglichen und trotzdem spannenden Weg, um mein gelerntes Wissen etwas anzuwenden. JLPT Einstufungen, Vokabeltraining etc. sind auch enthalten, um das Lernen zu erleichtern. Das Preismodell ist auch fair, man kann jeden Tag 10 Artikel mit minimaler Werbung lesen.
