“All your reading in one place” captures it well. I can easily send over articles, blog posts, Twitter threads, subscribe to feeds and newsletters, even books (though I haven’t done that much yet).
The reading experience is really well done. I love the AI reading, which turn articles into kind of podcast episodes. I’ve also started reading the text while listening. It feels easier to absorb the content.
One big reason I send content to the app is the highlighting+annotating features. Very quick and easy to use. It then pairs with the Readwise service that brings them back up for my daily reviews.
A lot of stuff packed into this first version, which is very encouraging for what will come next.
A long time Pocket user, Readwise Reader is like Pocket on steroids. Clean interface, full options for power users, integrating everything you’d like to save for later (articles, emails, PDFs, videos, ebooks, …), AI-features (like summarise), home for your newsletter (useful to de lutter my mailbox), …
It’s the best app of its kind I’ve used, by far.
The application is just perfect and I'm weighing my words!
We absolutely need to develop a system that would allow other well-known sources to be added: like Le Figaro/Le Monde, to have a list of choices from the application.
And develop the French language!

Could be more intuitive while reading/listening.
PDF files integration is a big plus but the AI text mode (enhanced text mode) is not yet great at detecting column.
Lastly, I wish the saving URL option could detect when you are connected to an account for premium content/articles.
Keep it up for the good work, I will keep my subscription.
