Headquartered in Basel, its membership now comprises of 209 national federations. Each member country is also a part of one of the six regional confederations: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Caribbean, Oceania, and South and Central America. Dr Hassan Moustafa from Egypt has been President of the l’application since 2000.
