AQI makes little sense.
In general the app is nice, however the aqi does not make a lot of sense, especially if two places are compared. Sometimes rural areas and city centers have equally high or low ratings even though the single indicators differ significantly. This might be because the dominant indicator is overweighted. E.g. if ozone is equal on both places but All other indicators are much lower on the rural area, the aqi is equal on both places. That not only makes no sense but is dangerous as city authorities might argue that the air quality in rural spaces is not better either.

Woher kommen die Daten?
Die Idee ist nett. Ich hatte von dieser App in der aktuellen Technology Review gelesen. Nur frage ich mich woher die Daten stammen und wer diese bewertet? Wenn ausgezeichnete Luftkurorte mitten im Pfälzer Wald oder mitten im Schwarzwald schlechtere Luftqualitätswerte haben (laut dieser app), als Industriestandorte ganz in deren Nähe oder Industriestädte in den USA oder Brasilien. Wird direkt wieder gelöscht. Tolle Idee, aber nicht so!!!!
