Watching YouTube through it is just painful! I hoped that it would be similar to that app for podcasts Snipd, but this is just annoying trough it me around the video, no way to continue from text and that is just tip of the iceberg Reading experience is also meh, no support for shortcuts on iPad with keyboard!? A lot of pages are just not shown correctly, especially technical staff you want to study
Also not a native app. Buggy as hell on iPad. Doesn’t support basic iPadOS features. It’s just a glorified web app. Just like the Mac app they do generously offer is just what anyone can do these days with Safari - wrap a webpage as an app, as can be seen by the standard navigation menu. And when you tell them they have the audacity to laugh at you. But I digress. Potential but nothing more.
Feed Management ist eine Katastrophe. Ich möchte nicht programmieren lernen, nur um mir eigene Ansichten von Feeds zu erstellen. Eine grundlegende Ordnerstruktur gibt es nicht. Ein Widget wie bei Reeder wäre auch mal nett. Oder ein bisschen shortcut Integration. Aber das ist vermutlich zu viel Aufwand.
I would advise the team to have a look into the fantastic TTS feature of the app 'Omnivore'. I think they are using Elevenlabs or OpenAI. Not sure what Reader is using, but is too monotonous to follow along.
Das Konzept ist super. Gerade für bestehende Nutzer von Readwise. Größtes Allleinstellungsmerkmal und Argument für den Abo-Preis ist die Möglichkeit, Kindle Highlights zu synchronisieren. Das kann sonst meines Wissens keine App / kein Produkt… Leider fehlen bestimmte grundlegende Funktionen wie beispielsweise: Nutzung in horizontaler Ausrichtung (landscape mode); seitwärts scrollen beim Lesen (um verborgene Spalten von Tabellen zu sehen). Zudem gibt es immer wieder Fehler beim parsing von Inhalten… beides ist bedauerlich, da es sogar kostenlose Produkte gibt, die in diesen Punkten überlegen sind (z.B. Omnivore).
Great app but could you add the apple pencil support for highlighting to mark the stuff then wait for the small pop up menu and then highlight is not really a great interaction and disturbs the workflow

Bin zufriedener Readwise Abonnent - leider ist das Herunterladen ReadwiseReader auf dem IPad nicht möglich. Auf IPhone geht es - schade…

ReadwiseReader ist sehr gut durchdacht und bekommt ständig neue Features. Ganz besonders begeistert bin ich von der Funktion des Page Scrolling. Mit ReadwiseReader kann ich fokussiert und ohne Ablenkung lesen! Bitte weiter so!

I love this app. Pocket, Instapaper & Raindrop.io, I had them all. None of those apps come close to Reader. I exported all of my bookmarks and links over to reader and deleted the others apps.
