Fluent Forever Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Worst customer service ever. I was logged out from my paid account since 10 days ago and i have been sending emails every day without any answer. Not only that i have lost mu progression but i am also pauing for an app that i can’t use. I DON’T recommend this app.

Zwei mal berechnet uns bei einloggen via AppleID bleibt FluentForever immer wieder im Subscription Menü hängen.. leider kein Button für den Support... daher leider inhaltlich nicht zu bewerten!

Ich hab einen Coupon bekommen (2 Monate kostenlos). Ist es mir aber ein Rätsel, wie man den einlösen kann. Ich hab stundenlang probiert und dann direkt FluentForever gelöscht.

I love the Fluent Forever method and enjoyed the book, but unfortunately the app is useless:
- the words to be added to the cards are not sorted by frequency, which drives me mad (especially since i was introduced to frequency lists by the Fluent Forever method)
- you cannot change the repetition periods for cards you already know or know well. So they are shown again and again, and that is especially frustrating if it is a non frequent word, which you will never use anyway.
- it takes too long to create the cards (although it has gotten much better recently) and this whole thing with filling gaps in sentences and having three cards for one word is a waste of time

All in all i studied six months with this with little results (dont ask me why) What is great though is the focus on pronounciation and the respective videos. Very helpful.

What i can recommend is Anki (i was introduced by this through Fluent Forever as well). You can find free decks in most languages or you can make your own. In Anki, you can customize everything and taylor it to your needs. Works perfectly and you can go 2-3 times faster theough the cards than with this app.

How can I terminate my subscription, I should have been notified two weeks before the trial version, but the money has been deducted and I have not been able to terminate my subscription yet

Lost my streak today because the App told me to try my review session later because of connection issues that are not there because I played another game online on my phone.

Now I’m worried when I can use the App again because the Error message:
Sorry, we couldn't load your review
session. Please check your connection
and try again!

Is still there whenever I want to do a Review Session.

Please fix then I can give 5 Stars.

I was asked to pick from a couple of pictures for “Nagel”, fingernail in German to create a flash card. One of the options was a picture of a finger with half of the finger nail ripped off, including the bloody nail bed. Shocking enough that I cancelled my subscription, I’ll stick to other resources!

I am extremely dissatisfied with this app. The concept and theory are really great, but the implementation is very poor.
First, I used the 2 week free trial, but unfortunately I couldn't sign up in the second week. Customer service didn't even get back to me. Then I thought I'd try a proper subscription using a different email address. Of course, all my progress was deleted and I had to start all over again.
The respective lessons are well structured and build on each other, unfortunately there are some bugs that are really annoying.
Last month I stopped paying and wanted to continue again this month, but now the whole app is spinning. I can no longer log in with my original password and of course the customer service is not answering again.
It's a real shame because the concept is really good, but they definitely need to put more work into customer service and also into the app.

App freezes, forces you to create notifications, you have to watch videos until the end to progress content.

Can not take sneak peaks into future content, everything is locked behind a paywall, the app is cheaply programmed. No customization options. All in all it’s just annoying to use.

I couldn’t use the app because I already knew many words and the process of marking them as known is slow. For non beginners there needs to be a way to mark words as know quickly such as multi selection

I’m using the free trail. The concept is good. But there are too many bugs unfortunately to justify paying money. I’ll maybe check it out again in a few months when a few things have been fixed

Every time I start a review session the app crashes in the middle of the session. I don’t know why... and it seems like I have to repeat most of the cards I’ve already practice that session.

On top of that,the images I have chosen are sometimes not the ones that appear in the review.

The fluent forever method is really great for really learning a language. I would recommend to buy the book too, because the app is the perfect companion for it. It takes more effort to learn with this method, but it’s great, and you will be much better then with the easier apps. For me it worked so well, that I am now studying languages :-) so thanks fluent forever team

Better would be at the cards to have the English translations word too at the solutions

Gut und schlecht zu gleich, leider kann man FluentForever nicht auf deutsch stellen, aber so lerne ich gleichzeitig noch englisch dazu. Was mir in der Schule doch ziemlich schwer fiel. Leider gibt es nicht so viele Sprachen zur Auswahl was ich bisschen traurig finde, da ich eigentlich eine andere Sprache zuerst letnen wollte

Love the app, found it whilst reading the fluent forever book. I highly recommend reading the book while you're learning your new language. I wish there was a free version though, €11/month seems like a lot for the features you get

Never had so much focus on Japanese pronounciation as I have with this app. I only finished the pronounciation lessons, but I think, they are already valuable enough to give 5 stars. Now tackling the grammar lessons

In short time I managed to enlarge my vocabulary and improve pronunciation. App has a unique approach to learning language which really works for me!

Tried other apps before but this method convinced me. Curious to see my progress learning Italian.

Probably the best app out there for learning languages. I have two things that if fixed would make it 5 Stars for me. When only doing the daily vocabulary it shows that my streak increases but sometimes it then just resets. Also when learning words with languages it would be nice to see the actual meaning of the word instead of only the image. Then i always have to go to the new image window.

Edit: Bought the book which makes the intention much more clear. Changed to 5 Stars.

Mit diese App habe ich endlich eine Chance italienisch zu lernen. Die Methode, bei der man halb-angeleitet ist, aber viel selbst bestimmen kann (welche Wörter man lernen will, mit welchen Sätzen, und welchen Fotos) funktioniert bei mir super. Auch das LiveCoaching ist gut. Ich hoffe Grammatik lernen wird noch etwas angeleiteter, und ich hoffe sie nehmen noch mehr Übungen zum zuhören echter Italiener auf, aber ich kann fluent forever nur empfehlen.

I really love „working“ with the app, it‘s quite fun. The method the app is based on is outstanding and unique. I‘ve been using it to refurbish my Italian and I‘m making faster progress that I could have immagined. On the go, I‘m also improving my English, because the app is not available in other languages. That all being said, I‘m happy that they‘re constantly improving the relatively young app and adding new features. I‘m curious on the further developments and already thinking of the next language I want to cover once having mastered Italian. Good work, guys.

The app provides a fun and really effective way to learn vocabulary - and to some extent grammar - I am constantly amazed how words and phrases I learn with the app pop into my head for use in everyday conversation in German. The visual and contextual language-learning science behind the method really works in making the language something you can access in real time, when you need it - it’s far more effective than any of the hours of traditional classes I have sat in and from which I’ve retained very little. That said the app doesn’t always have the gender of all of the words included on the cards which is a bit frustrating, and some pointers to core grammar rules (as you have with duo lingo) would be helpful in really getting to grips with the sample sentences.

Wir werden bald ein Au-Pair aus Italien haben und ich nutze FluentForever, um etwas italienisch zu lernen. Ich finde es klasse, mit FluentForever kleinere Wartezeiten im Alltag produktiv nutzen zu können (zb warten auf die Straßenbahn). Und es macht auch richtig Spaß. Die Methode ist unheimlich innovativ und legt von Anfang an großen Wert auf die richtige Aussprache - es gibt bestimmt auch andere gute apps zum Sprachenlernen, aber ich kann diese aus eigener Erfahrung heraus wärmstens empfehlen.
