I’m super dissatisfied with the current version

StationFinder used to work well, never gave me issues. I loved that I could use it to pay all of my bills without having to sit at a computer. Recently this worthless app forgot my log in information that I requested to save. Now I can’t log in with my credentials, even though I’m imputing the right data. I had to call customer service for them to supposedly “unlock” my account after trying to access the thing so many times. They said I’d be able to access my mobile account after the call, I’m still being given the error message that “my account data doesn’t exist”. If you guys want your customers to be happy, why don’t you develop something that works?!

Instead of putting out this worthless time consuming junk that further complicates he lives of your customer. If you guys are going to respond to this review, at least state what you will actively do to fix these issues. Instead of just putting out a banal statement about how “sorry” you are for the inconvenience.

Why have this app?

StationFinder is just about worthless. If you do manage to get one of your cards linked to StationFinder , you still have to login to view the balance, activity, or any other information. It's no different than if you were just login on the website or their mobile site, but now you have to have this worthless app too. Trying to link a second card in your family is, from what I can tell, impossible. You can go through the motions of registering it and giving them your personal information and all this stuff, but it will just have technical difficulties and will never link it. I guess I shouldn't of been surprised. I have two accounts, one for me and one for my wife, and I can't even get Chevron to send me two e-statements... one has to be mailed.

Location Services

No option for location services to be set to "while using StationFinder ". When a company doesn't give us that option and tracks us 24/7, I stop supporting them. I won't use StationFinder until they add this option. Waze does the same thing. It's for ad purposes and for building a profile on where you travel.

UPDATE 9/3/17:

So iOS 11 will be released 2.5 weeks from now. It will (finally) require EVERY app to give users the option for users to set location services to "While Using StationFinder " for StationFinder to remain in StationFinder store. Chevron still refuses to give users this option which means they are hell-bent on wanting to track users 24/7. I hope Apple axes StationFinder. I've waited patiently, now I'm done with it. Bye Chevron app.

Changed password and now Face ID doesn’t work.

So I changed my password and now when I go to login FaceID pops up but then says I can’t login because the password is incorrect, so I type in my current password and make sure to click the “remember me” button and it lets me login. The next time I try to login FaceID pops up again and won’t let me login so I have to manually type in password again. I tried turning FaceID off and back on again but it doesn’t fix the issue. I’ll go back to 5 stars after this issue is resolved.

Not happy

Not as user friend as it used to be. Went to make my payment and couldn’t find where to make it since everything was changed. Got rid of StationFinder . Got an email to ask to download which I did. After looking at cards I noticed a small little login sign. A lot easier to navigate through the original version.

It’s not useless...

If you have a Techron Advantage card and have a car that needs quality gas, StationFinder is perfect. It helps keep track of your rewards points that you can use at the pump to save on gas. Plus, you can see deals on some of your favorite drinks and snacks that’s are only at Chevron

Include more features

StationFinder is good to manage my credit card, pay bills, but I prefer to use google maps to find a station near me, especially because in google maps I can see the prices. Also You should add a direct link to login, and maybe features like plan a trip, the cheapest gas station in my road trips

What’s up with the app?

No matter what issues you experienced a year ago, StationFinder is still worthless. It still does not save credentials correctly. When I actually HAVE been able to login, it shows a zero balance, based on my former gas card. Any balance on that card was transferred to my Chevron Visa card. However, the Visa card account no longer shows up for me in StationFinder, which mostly doesn’t allow me to sign in.

Disappointed

StationFinder WAS great when the bill payment function worked. Now it will not allow me to log every time I enter my passwords it directs me to the main site to change it. I have tried changing it to see if that would work but it will do the same thing with the updated password. I’m so disappointed as I use to love this function. Please please please fix this and it will be a five start app again

No Prices

Typically I use Google Maps to help me find a Chevron, and there’s an added feature of seeing the price differences between each Chevron. I thought there would be a similar system with StationFinder , but there isn’t. I don’t really see the point of having it anymore since I don’t use any of the other features. Seems kind of pointless. Welp. See ya!

Clear and Concise App

I just a lots of app for business.
I don’t really use this one to find Chevron Gas Stations. But, do use to make my payments and track my accounting of activity, etc of my fill ups at the Stations.
Clear and Concise layout of information.
Thank you!
Good Job!!

Sign in failure

Up until about 1 week ago StationFinder worked fine. Allowed me to store my purchases and my payments. The past 4 days I have attempted to log in. It says my data is not available. Sorry for the inconvenience. What happened? If they don’t want us to use StationFinder to pay just send us the bill and we will pay it. It seemed like a good app originally but now it just frustrates me. Fix it or I will permanently delete it.

Database of stations out of date

The database of reported Chevron and Texaco stations that displays on StationFinder lags several months behind where actual stations are, or are no longer, in existence. There's even one instance in my small town of Waco where StationFinder reports a Chevron station, but that place has never been a Chevron, in fact an unbranded gas label (Cefco) is sold there.

Garbage

Whoever made StationFinder should be fired because it plain and simple doesn’t work as well as your maps app. It Can’t find where you’re at the majority of the time. And when it can it doesn’t even show all the locations. I’d rather just drive and take my chances at finding a location along the way than use StationFinder. They should just have a map that shows all current locations.

Useless

StationFinder is completely useless, all it does is show the stations nearby, something I can easily do with my phone.
I thought StationFinder was a similar concept as 76 Gas station, which allows us to pay at the pump using StationFinder . For this you have to link a debit, credit card or the 76 CC in StationFinder , when I get to the gas station I launch the 76 Gas App and use my phone at the pump without having to pull my wallet.
