Serta Motion Signature Reviews

I love SertaMotionSignature! I see reviewers stating SertaMotionSignature doesn’t work, others say it does; one specifically mentions a $4500 bed which is probably the king size Motion Custom (two twin XLs), and I can vouch that SertaMotionSignature does indeed work... very well. I just received my back ordered Serta Motion Signature foundation, which SertaMotionSignature is for (the icon even depicts the corner retainer bars unique to the Motion Signature). The sync process is completely painless once you go to the setup screen. Literally took 10 seconds including reading and trying to decide whether to rename or not (I did not).

A suggestion to those with other Serta adjustable foundation models to try the “Serta Remote” app instead of this “Motion Signature” app. I do think it will work with the Motion Perfect also, but I'm not sure.

I just purchased a Tempurpedic and really wanted to get an adjustable base. It was really tough to decide which base to get (Tempurpedic or this one) I downloaded SertaMotionSignature in the showroom, immediately paired a showroom bed to SertaMotionSignature and was able to control the whole thing through my phone. SertaMotionSignature tells you what level you are on which is nice because the remote does not tell you. Tempurpedic's remote has an LED screen so you can see what levels you are on.

What really sold me though was that through SertaMotionSignature, you can set an alarm to wake you up to a custom position and a massage! How cool is that? The stand for the remote has a plug I can plug my phone into it and to to sleep! In order for the alarm to work though, SertaMotionSignature has to be open so I just leave it open before I go to sleep at night.

Ohh and one more thing, set up was easy peasy, took no more than 10 seconds to pair.

I downloaded SertaMotionSignature to my iPhone 6 and it worked just fine. When I loaded it onto my wife's iPad mini, SertaMotionSignature refused to recognize our dual beds. However , when I went through the setup process with the iPad mini, I had somehow set an alarm for an hour later. An hour later,I was playing with the iPad mini when it notified me that an alarm had been triggered. I returned to the Serta app, went to Setup, and both beds were recognized. SertaMotionSignature is now working just fine with the iPhone and the iPad.

I used SertaMotionSignature for about 3 weeks and it was awesome! Loved the alarm and the bed going into the position I programmed when it's time to wake up, and the remote being on my iPhone 6 Plus for my Serta Motion Signature king size adjustable bed. But for a month now, SertaMotionSignature won't pick up the 2nd bed. I've contacted everyone and I'm back to it being an app problem. I wish it never had worked for me so I wouldn't keep coming back periodically only to be disappointed over and over again. One day I'm really hoping to be surprised.

Like others have said, it will randomly only pick up one bed. I have to close out of SertaMotionSignature and reopen it. When it is connected, it does work... but why not make it so that the beds automatically reconnect... having to "setup" the bed every time is stupid. As for the alarm feature.. If the feature would work without my phone being open/unlocked on SertaMotionSignature screen all night.. it might be useful. Pretty stupid app

Badly in need of update. Fails to pick up both my bases for my king signature. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it'll only pick up one base and other times it just doesn't pick up anything. This mostly started happening when SertaMotionSignature was also downed to our iPad as well as iPhones. So it doesn't have the capability to function when loaded on multiple devices. So annoying!!

I just downloaded the most recent update and SertaMotionSignature now recognizes the bed!

Some nice new features have been added. All work as promised.

With the previous versions we can sync 2 iPhones at same time, with this new version cant do it anymore, please fix it! 😫

Love this application, easy to install and convenient to use on your adjustable bed from your smart phone. Love, love, love it!!!

Alarm functions don't work but everything else does
Contacted the manufacturer and they couldn't help . Stated it was a problem they would check into. Apparently other people having the same problem

One day it picked up both twin bases, now only finds one. App support is no longer existent.

The Serta Motion Signature bed is made by Reverie. I was using the Reverie Remote to control the bed. The Serta remote only has memory spots and it doesn't have the numbers indication the position of the head and foot. iOS 8.02 seems to have broken the numbers on the Reverie remote. It would be nice to have the numbers back. Also, you do have to be close to the bed to get the bluetooth connection. I will be trying the alarm feature tomorrow for the first time.

I have the iPhone 6 and SertaMotionSignature works fine. I didn't even have to do anything to set it up. As soon as it opened it recognized my bed. It's a little nicer than the standard remote that came with the bed because it shows the percentages on the massage feature.

I could not get the remote to recognize my Serta Motion Custom bed. However, I was able to get the "Serta Remote" App working with my bed. I was hoping to use SertaMotionSignature as well to take advantage of features such as "Anti-snore", timers, and memory settings that are not offered in the standard "Serta Remote" app. The Serta Motion Custom is $1,000 more than the Serta Motion Signature. Curious to why these features are not offered on the custom version of the adjustable foundations.

Overall good performance with one exception. Does not maintain Bluetooth link if you move out of range
and has to be manually relinked each time you move out phone of Bluetooth range. Would be five stars if that issue were fixed.

If you have the custom series bed and can't get SertaMotionSignature to work there's another Serta app and it does work. It's called SERTA REMOTE. That's the one to use.

It is hit and miss. Shameful actually. You spend 5 grand on the bed and they can't make an app that works. Either it says 'can't find bed' yet when you tap it, it is your bed. Half the time the alarm function to move bed up and vibrate doesn't work. Shameful for Apple to allow this in the store. Shane on developers for not correcting and updating app

Same problem as everybody else. App won't recognize my bed or any bed since last update. It was great when it worked. Miss having the convenience of using my phone to control bed. I hope it's fixed soon.

I was fiddling around searching for the remote, did not find it. Installed SertaMotionSignature and it detected my bed. Works like a charm
