Not the right time to move

SAP CRM Mobile sales and all the productivity apps can be used for demo purpose, but not for productive usage yet. Basic CRM functionallity is missing, industry specific or customer specific functionality cannot be used. Customer specific enhancement is possible at minimal level. Each new version coming out requires an updated SUP and DOE which causes a heavy upgrade project. The technology below is a big zoo: Offline apps with SAP Backend: MBO with additional middleware NetWeaver mobile DOE Offline apps without SAP Backend: MBO with webservice Native online apps: odata with additional sap gateway server - inappropriate for non sap backend systems Online Html5 apps: Sybase SDK with webservice/rfc Proprietary data security protocol that is blocked in firewalls hundreds of unanswered questions if you deep dive intro it. Installation, administration and own development causes huge effort. Powerpoints and a presales messages do not fit reality. Our opinion: not the right time to move. Start with other technologies. The mobile SAP plattform is not the one to invest yet.

Crashes after latest update

After the latest update, it tarted to crash during startup, when clicking on Demo Application.
