As a pharmacist at a retail chain, I use RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts multiple times a day at work.. it feels like I’m whipping out my phone every 5 min to check if prices are cheaper than a patient’s insurance. I’m not sure if you lost or didn’t renew your contract with some of the other companies you used to work with, but lately all the prices are the exact same ones as GoodRx- the processing info is even the same. A few months ago you were better than GoodRx maybe ~30-40% of the time, but now I’m thinking, what’s the use of having two of the exact same app? Other than that, the functionality of RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts is excellent- easy to find drugs and to edit strengths and quantities as needed. It doesn’t ask me every other screen to “save the drug to my profile” like GoodRx does (an extremely annoying feature for those who work in a pharmacy looking up prices for others instead of themselves), so kudos to that! Unfortunately, the most important part is the savings, and that has fallen drastically. I used to recommend RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts to patients all the time, but it seems pointless now since everyone knows about GoodRx. And like I said, what’s the point of having two of the same app?

This is my first time trying to use cupons for my prescription.. I didn't think it would work so I never tried. I was so WRONG! I pay for my medication each week (an outrageous price even with my insurance btw)
I literally paid $17 for my prescription versus $75 for a three day supply, it would have been about $40 with my insurance which they have given me nothing but problems, claimed they couldn't cover my medication until the next day but I had been out of my prescription. So needless to say I will be going with RxSaver instead of my insurance from now on. Hopefully they keep working! I used my Rx coupon at Walgreens in Charlotte, NC. Good luck!

Great functionality and it’s great to have pharmacy pricing on the go, but I learned a tough lesson. I sorted pharmacies by price and filled my rx at the least expensive pharmacy shown in the list. However, after filling my medication, I discovered that in the initial results, only large chains are shown. Be sure to tap the ‘Pharmacy not shown?’ button at the bottom of the list. This brought up at least a dozen smaller, local pharmacies where my medicine would have been over $30 less expensive, and some where even closer to my location! I’m not sure if those shown are sponsored listings or not, but I think it’s deceptive that, even when sorted by price, a prescription savings program would not display the lowest priced pharmacies first (even if they aren’t large chains). I will probably look for another solution.

I think it's the best app for drug discounts. You get the lowest actual documented prices for you and the pharmacy to see. Drug coupons offer to save 75% off of your Meds but you really don't know what you'll save until you present it to the pharmacy. With RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts you'll know what you'll be saving and paying within seconds. RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts is better than goodrx too. I have saved a lot of money on two of my medications. It's easy to download and use and I highly recommend it.

My sister suggested this to me and it has ALWAYS been awesome!! RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts is truly FREE!! It gives you big discounts when you have no prescription coverage. Even when we had script coverage, I always double checked Lowest Med and on occasion it was cheaper to use RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts than the insurance. Now we have no coverage thanks to Obamacare : ( There's no annoying emails, no contract, never attempts to get you to pay for Lowest Med services. I recommend this to EVERYONE whether you have script coverage or not!!

RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts was easy to put on my phone and readily accepted just after it was downloaded, saved 7$ on one 30 day refill. I feel I’ll get loads of use with this...if a 74 year old can use it, anyone can..gave it a five! My only complaint comes from the pharmacy NOT honoring the price on RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts. The biggest dodge is they don’t have that drug in stock at this moment..even waiting until later don’t help..see this KROGER??

Downloaded RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts while waiting for the meds to refill. Received the discount. RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts said $4.25 but the pharmacist said $7 because that showed on her screen. Then she took the bag to the back (I don’t understand why?) came back with the back and stapled the bag again. I’m curious if they use the same meds or lower quality when you use RX. Just curious?? Anyway, I saved $10. Thank you.

I usually use Good Rx for prescriptions because it’s cheaper than using my insurance sadly. However, since discovering RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts, I’ve been able to use it several times and save even more $$$ than I do on Good Rx which is amazing! It’s easy to use and straightforward as well as accurate so no problems when you get to the pharmacy to check out!! I’d definitely suggest trying it out!

RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts has saved me hundreds of dollars on a regular basis. I usually check good RX as well and this one almost always has a FAR better price. Half the time the good RX codes do not work! Its free. I do not know how but a prescription goes from $500 to $35 without insurance.
I have insurance and it still is not covering my prescriptions even though I pay a bunch of money every week.

I need diazepam for my blood pressure. So I went to this site and it list Walgreens will sell you 30 diazepam for $6.16. They have a second option for specialty Walgreens pharmacies for eight dollars. My doctor called in the prescription when I took RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts over and I showed Walgreens the discount I was supposed to get through here they refused to honor it. So why does this site still show Walgreens will sell your diazepam which is a controlled substance with a prescription and won’t honor their own pricing they wanted me to pay full price. Quite clearly there is a disconnect between RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts and Walgreens and it needs to be fixed.

I love RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts. I literally have saved hundreds of dollars. I don’t have prescription insurance, and I don’t need it now thanks to RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts. The only problem is that I couldn’t find fluoxetine 90mg weekly. I had to search the internet and eventually changed meds due to the lack of coupons. Now my pharmacy finds the cheapest price before even letting me know my refills are ready.

Hello,
I had to leave a review as RxSaver is my “go to” app because it has much better pricing overall than GoodRx for the handful of meds that members of my family, my dog and myself must take that are not covered by insurance and another substitute is not an option or acceptable in my professional opinion, our physician’s opinions nor our trusted pharmacists opinions.
So I’m so happy I accidentally stumbled onto your application whilst helping a patient find an alternative coupon source that saved her more money than GoodRX. I wish you had cards I could give to all my patients to carry when this instance happens and they need a more money saving option to pick.
Thanks for your time..
Sincerely,
Dr. Matthew Pendergrast

This is a great service. I can’t thank you enough for saving me money on my prescriptions. Please continue to provide this incredible service. RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts is easy to use: select what you want, select the best price and a pharmacy near you and pay the price that is shown on your app. Get a prescription from your doctor is all that’s needed. Well done and thank you again

I live in a remote Alaskan town where all commodities are flown in. With this set-up, expect that all stuffs here are double or triple the price of same stuff in places where delivery of commodities is accessible through land. That’s why it’s a big help to us that I came across RXSaver where I am able to save MUCH on my prescription.
Thank you, RXSaver, I’m so happy that I found you.

I have been using Good Rx for 7 years and RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts saves me more ! Not a lot, but I was finally able to leave Walmart where the prescriptions would take 4-5 hours to fill. I went to Publix where they always tell me 30 minutes.
The personal are so much nicer at Publix and they DONT close down for lunch like all Walmart does.

RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts works well. It seems to use my location reliably and I haven't found a pharmacy yet that it doesn't have. However, it doesn't save my dosages under "My Prescriptions" which is really annoying because I then have to go through and re-enter it every time leaving room for error when checking nearby pricing. It also won't let me search for one of my prescriptions exactly. Makes me search extended release rather than delayed release.

I got myself tripped up in not being careful enough in choosing capsules vs tablets, and finding the prices not what I had expected when I presented my coupons.
Samantha in Customer Support was very patient and helpful in showing me my mistake.
I think it’s still a little too easy to go wrong, but the prices are accurate.

Checked prices on RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts for my prescription and it showed $7 was the cheapest. Drug rang up at $42 and I showed my phone to the pharmacy and sure enough it came back at $7! Saved $35 just by showing this free app on my phone at the pharmacy. Amazing! Where else can you make $35 for doing nothing? Download now! What do you have to lose?

Updating my review, developer had an outage which caused RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts to not find any prices. RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts works very well and finds prices cheaper than what I would pay *with* insurance. The pharmaceutical industry borders on criminal but until reform comes along, LowestMed does what it can.
Original review:
Used to work great, now all I can get RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts to do is say "fetching prices". Fail.
By meemunk
I am disabled and unable to work. I have several prescriptions and being able to get all of them at a discounted price is a blessing. I have tried the other apps & RxSaver is almost always the least expensive! I could never afford the regular prices on my income! Thank goodness for RxSaver!
By Xxcrash21xx
The prices on many of my meds are half the price of my co-pay! I save $7.00 on average for each prescription. That adds up every month. While $7 may not seem like much, over a year I save $84 on just one and for myself, it adds up to several hundred dollars per year!

I have used several other cards (apps) like this but LPM has found me consistently better pricing. I’m not sure I understand how something so simple , saves so much money. WE ARE BEING RIPPED off by the pharmaceutical industry. This is the only counter measure. In fact , the prices are usually lower then my insurance co-pay.

It's amazing how RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts can save you 100's of dollars on medication when you don't have insurance. Just look up your prescription and get a savings card, most known pharmacies are listed as well as a few local depending on your location. 100% recommended

I was shocked at a $20 savings over my out-of-pocket cost using my Aetna insurance coverage!
If you drive out of your way to save $.10 on a gallon of gas--then you will be surprised at how much you can conveniently save using RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts.
Download it and see how much you have been OVERPAYING for your prescriptions.

Was a bit skeptical at first but this really works - look up all your drugs before you buy - sometimes it’s cheaper to just use coupons and not go through insurance - so glad I found RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts - highly recommend!

I don't know how they do it but I've saved even mor than the other app for lower drug prices. One of my meds is 40% cheaper than before I found RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts. Also one of my meds wasn't coming in right on RxSaverPrescriptionDiscounts . Contacted them and they responded right away.
